I was really looking forward to visiting this café today – after years of dealing with chronic back and pelvic issues that have significantly limited my mobility, I try to get out of the house now and then to feel a little more connected and less isolated. The staff here is kind and the space is welcoming in many ways, but unfortunately, my experience was still disappointing.
The seating, while stylish, is not at all back-friendly: most chairs are hard and offer no arm support, and the couches are so deep that they make it impossible to sit in a healthy or pain-free position for anyone with spinal issues. After struggling to find a position that didn’t aggravate my pain, I folded my legs under me (shoes off, of course) to support my body in a way that works better for me.
Interestingly, nearly everyone around me had one leg folded up too – just in more socially acceptable ways – which gave me hope that my informal posture would be tolerated. Unfortunately, I was promptly asked to put my legs down. I understand that sitting like this can come off as impolite, but for me, it was a necessary accommodation for my physical condition.
I don’t expect every space to cater to my specific needs, but I had hoped for a bit more acceptance – or at least understanding – for less visible disabilities. As much as I appreciate the overall atmosphere, this experience made it clear that this café might not be a comfortable or inclusive place for those with physical limitations. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others with...
Read moreUnfortunately, despite the nice atmosphere, this café is not family friendly! My 3 month old baby was in need of milk. To not disturb the rest of the guests with a hungry and fuzzy baby, I spotted a quite corner with a sofa that would have been a very comfortable spot for breastfeeding. However, I have been forbidden by the personnel to breastfeed there because that is the private spot of their boss, where only he’s allowed to sit. Despite the boss was not even around at that time and it would have taken only 10 mins to breastfeed my baby, I was invited to move my chair in front of the toilets. My baby didn’t find the spot calm enough to drink. This forced us to hurry up to consume our drinks and leave the café under the rain to be able to sooth our at that point desperate baby. This is not only poor customer service but being totally heartless towards a poor...

We also went for the croissant 🥐 — delicately layered, soft, and just the right touch of buttery goodness.
The café features a beautiful La Marzocco machine (always a good sign), and they roast their own beans in-house — which you can also purchase to take home.
The space itself is warm and inviting, perfect for settling in with your laptop or simply enjoying a quiet moment. A gem for coffee lovers, and definitely a place I’ll keep...
