Deutsches Verpackungs-Museum — Attraction in Heidelberg

Straight 5/5 for a museum you would include into your plans as the cultural dessert or educative snack en route, but not as your journey's main course. You'll get all the basic information you need for the subject matter here (as, for example, common history of packaging, materials used in different periods, modernist design) with interesting exhibits on about four average living room-seized exhibition spaces. Pretty nice and small but the price is off (5 euros) and none of the descriptions are in any other language than German. Also, I would have expected for some of the packaging machines to be working (it would be very unteresting for kids), but no. This is exactly the type of museum that is fun to discover. Most cities have their typical history museums, but this packaging museum is rare, quirky and fun.
