I visited with my 15 year old son and we had fried goat cheese as the appetizer, the tagliatelle and the Bolognese. Goat cheese is my son's favorite, so I only had a bite and I and found it okay - not great, but sadly it didn't make me immediately change restaurants. Unfortunately the appetizer was soon followed by the main courses and I gave up on the tagliatelle after the first bite. My son gratuitously offered to switch dishes with me but unfortunately the Bolognese wasn't much better. At that point I decided that the experience was not worth the calories and told my son that he can have both dishes. True to being a growing 15 year old he had both, but when later asked whether he liked it, he shrugged and said "No, but I didn't want the food go to waste" - this coming from a teenager that finds school cafeteria food great... As to the size of the dishes - the appetizer and two main courses had filled him up enough that he refused to share the donair I had for my supper. I'm surprised that the place brings in enough business to afford the rent and shocked at a reasonable...
Read moreStumbled on this place today. While I was talking to my daughter about what to order, the cook came out of the kitchen and started explaining the specials. When I told him that my daughter was vegetarian, he asked if he could put something together that he liked (he was a vegetarian himself). Both my daughter's and my meals were fantastic. Highly recommend this place. The food, atmosphere and service were all fantastic. Go there and enjoy....
Read moreReally wanted to like this place, unfortunately it just didnt live up to the ratings. I visited twice. First time, I had to wait almost 2 hours for my food. The second time, I had to wait over an hour and the food was just not good. I had odered a carbonara and as you can see in the photo, it wasn't done properly and the eggs had split.
Waiting over an hour to two hours, with sub par food and bad...
