Restaurant Akropolis — Restaurant in Landstuhl

First time trying this place and I have to say it won't be my last. The decor is awesome they give the feeling of your teleported right to Greece.

There is plenty of parking space nearby plus it's a spacious place. The staff are so friendly. It seems like. Family owned restaurant which was awesome. Seeing there passion for the food was great.

The food was good. I tried there mix. The chicken was a bit dry but that's about the only complaint. It is seasoned well so definitely snag some extra sauce as this is super delicious. In my opinion I felt as if the sauce was more of a salad but it definitely was very tasty.

For the review I would have to give this place like a 7.3 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale. Only improvement was the food. It was a bit dry but the sauce helped greatly.

The only way I give a three stars is because the owner was very kind and friendly. I book a table one day earlier and when I've arrived they didn't know that I have a booking on my name. Then is good that they have a table free. We want it to eat seafood. I asked for octopus, they don't have it. Then I asked for squids, the owner said ok, we have it. In one minute later he come back to our table and he said that the squids are finished. Then he recommended to try kings prawns. Ok, we are agree. You won't believe that one minute later he said that the prawns are finished 😂. Really??? We are coming to Greek restaurant to eat seafood and finally the only seafood they have it is salmon. Yes, the salmon was fresh and delicious but not for this we are coming for. I am not sure if I will be back...

Qualität der Speisen

Gyros ist hier einfach nur gut! Generell sind die Fleischspeisen hochwertig und lecker. Das Lammkotelett (über offener Flamme gegrillt) zergeht geradezu auf der Zunge. Zaziki, Pommes und Salat ebenfalls hervorragend. Negativ fällt da leider der Reis auf, den es zu den Speisen dazu gibt. Geschmacklich nicht der Hit und die Erbsen und Minimöhren aus der Dose machen es nicht besser.

Sauberkeit

Tischdecken werden nach Benutzung von vorherigen Gästen nicht gewechselt. So fanden wir noch Speisereste auf der Dekoration (wäre beim wechseln runtergefallen) und diverse Fettflecken.

Toiletten

Werden wohl auch nur einmal am Tag gereinigt. Im Seifenspender wurde der Rest Flüssigseife so oft mit Wasser wieder aufgefüllt, das es einfach nur noch Wasser ist. Heizung ist aus, als Frau möchte ich da wirklich nicht aufs Klo müssen!

Barrierefreiheit

Kein Zugang mit Rollstuhl, keine Brailleschrift. Eingeschränkte Personen können die Treppe nutzen, hier ist auf beiden Seiten ein Handlauf, so das man mittig gehen kann und sich links und rechts gleichzeitig festhalten kann. Die Stufen sind höher als normal. Keine Behindertentoilette (zur Toilette muss eine kleine Treppe überwunden werden) Behindertenparkplätz sind gegenüber auf dem Städtischen Parkplatz vorhanden.

Service

Super freundlich, mit lächeln! Auch wird sehr auf die Gäste geachtet. Man ist fertig mit essen und der Teller wird quasi sofort abgeräumt.

Ambiente

Der elegant! Griechisches Flair und bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten. Die angehängte und indirekt beleuchtet Decke gibt dem ganzen noch etwas "Mystisches". Ist sehr schön ohne übertrieben zu wirken .
