NIE wieder. Leider haben wir als „Urlauber“ anscheinend einen großen Fehler gemacht. Wir wollten etwas trinken und ein Eis essen. Wir bestellten uns was zum trinken, meine Freundin bestellte sich einen Eisbecher. Ich bestellte mir erstmal nur eine Cola, da ich mir an der Eistheke selber ein Eis aussuchen wollte. Was ich/wir leider nicht wussten ist, dass man das Eis in der Waffel auch bei der Bedienung bestellen muss, da es andere Preise sind. 1 Kugel to go 1,90€ und 1 Kugel im Freisitz kostet 2,70€. Ist soweit auch in Ordnung, darüber also keine Beschwerde 😉. Ich habe also mein Eis selber geholt und bezahlt und nach einem Aschenbecher nach dem bezahlen gefragt. Daraufhin wurde ich von dem ersten männlichen Mitarbeiter schon angesprochen. „Wenn Sie hier hocken, dann müssen sie bei der Bedienung bestellen“. Ich war natürlich verwirrt, habe ihn aber auch darauf hingewiesen, dass wir heute den ersten Tag hier sind und das nicht wussten. Bin dann auf meinen Platz, wo wir ja zu viert alles andere bereits bei der Bedienung bestellt hatten. Bevor ich mich hinhocken konnte, konfrontierte mich schon seine weibliche Kollegin vor allen anderen Gästen. Wurde so also mal wieder belehrt, da der männliche Kollege mich anscheinend noch nicht genug belehrt hatte. Man muss sagen sie war nett aber dann auch schnippisch, das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein hatten wir. Mein Eis ist geschmolzen während der ganzen Diskussion so dass mein Kleid auch dreckig wurde. Ich habe ihr angeboten ihr das Geld zu geben diese 80 cent, aber um das ging es ihr anscheinend nicht, sie sagte nein, dass passt schon, aber sie ließ nicht locker. Ich sagte ihr „ ich habe ihre Kollegin gefragt ob sie „cockies“ eis hätten und ihre Kollegen sagte nein, daraufhin wollte ich selber an der Theke mir ein eis aussuchen, da das bei uns so üblich wäre und ich auf der Karte nichts gesehen hatte“ sie ließ wieder nicht locker, die Leute bekamen das natürlich alle mit. Sie sagte „natürlich sind da die Eissorten drin, kann ich dir zeigen“ ab diesem Satz wurde Sie etwas schnippisch, klar, dass die anderen Gäste da Augen bekommen, wenn jeder hockt außer die Bedienung und ich. Mein Eis tropfte daraufhin natürlich auch auf den Stuhl…. Meine Laune im Keller. Ich betonte wieder, dass ich es nicht wusste, da wir heute erst angekommen sind!! Sie sagte wieder „doch, da oben steht ein Schild mit irgendwas eis to go. Sie beendete dann doch endlich mal diese peinliche Diskussion und sagte, dass sie uns jetzt einen Aschenbecher bringt und ich bedankte mich. Ich dachte, wir trinken jetzt aus und ich esse mein Eis und wir gehen! Aber dann kam die dritte Kollegin, unsere Bedienung vom ersten Mal. Sie fragte mich, ob Sie mir eine Frage nicht beantwortet hatte. Ich muss sagen, diese Bedienung war zu uns sehr freundlich, sie würde von mir 5 Sterne bekommen! Ich habe dann nach dem dritten Ansprechen gesagt „was wird denn hier bitte für ein Drama gemacht?! Ich möchte nur mein Eis essen und ich habe so etwas nie behauptet. Ich sagte zu der Kollegin, dass sie mir sagten, es gäbe kein cookies und mehr nicht!!“ die nette Bedienung hat mich dann mein Eis weiter essen lassen. Wir haben dann bei der netten Bedienung bezahlt und sind dann gegangen. Fazit: Ich bin selbst Marktleiterin im Handel und ich würde nie auf den Gedanken kommen, einen Kunden vor anderen Kunden mit 3 anderen Kollegen in solchen Abständen zu belehren. So etwas macht man einfach nicht. Fehler macht jeder Mensch, gerade Menschen, die aus dieser Gegend nicht kommen können das alles nicht wissen und es ist ausreichend, wenn ein einziger Mitarbeiter darauf hinweist auf den Fehler und den Kunden die Ruhe wieder gibt. Ich möchte dieses Cafe nicht schlecht reden, wenn man die Regeln kennt mit dem Eis, dann kann man hier bestimmt gut sitzen und auch genießen. Aber ich werde hier leider definitiv nie wieder etwas bestellen. An unsere nette Bedienung gehen...

Once a quarter, I take my team out for Brunch and last month we decided to try this place. The location is quite nice and directly in the city centre. The food and drinks were okay, nothing exceptional but okay. The service, well it was definitely below par bur there was one situation that really stunned me: as an English man, I was quite pleased to see they were offering a full english breakfast with all the trimmings except one thing, sauce or ketchup. Normally in the UK we would eat the cooked breakfast with HP sauce but I know we are in Germany so didn't expect it. But anyways, I decided to ask the server if they had any and he said no. So as an alternative I said I would take some normal tomato ketchup but then the waiter told me that ketchup isn't a breakfast item so they do not bring it out until the afternoon. But I asked him if he could just grab me some as ketchup with sausages is also quite normal even in Germany. But to my surprise, he refused and walked off.
