Piccanti, Cafe, Pizzeria, Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Lüneburg

We just wanted to grab a quick bite here while visiting Lüneburg.

The service was sooo slow, despite the restaurant being only moderately filled. We waited a long time to order, close to leaving again actually, then waited a long time for drinks and an eternity for the food. And then waited again for something that was forgotten.

The food was, as expected for a restaurant that offers Schnitzel, Burger, Pasta and Pizza, only just acceptable but not anywhere near good. Bruschetta was soggy, the Schnitzel not quite finished (and frosted, but again expected). The best thing were the fries, crispy outside and fluffy inside.

We were having lunch at the restaurant, we were at the table near the window at the end, at first we were served by a very kind woman, but then to make the payment a young girl came, who had just started her shift, she kept us more money than what the bill actually was, that's why we were surprised, she didn't serve us at first and again we left her a small tip, but when we wanted to pay she said that it doesn‘t work to pay by card only cash because she wanted to profit and did not make the payment by card. Piccanti Lüneburg provided a truly delightful dining experience. The service was exceptional; our waiter was incredibly attentive and polite, while also maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor. He was very helpful in guiding us through the menu with excellent recommendations. We also appreciated him checking in to see how we were enjoying our meal. He even graciously agreed to a photo!
