It is a very traditional german restaurant, and you can take it serious in all the ways. The food is great! Big portions and very tasty! If you don’t mind for the rest, i can only recommend! But the service… horrible!!!! The waitresses are very impolite, rude and not at all customer focused. They will do what they want, when they want, if they want and will also complain about you in the end, after demanding tip! English is not possible here and they will try to scam or even push hard for tips if you don’t speak german! If you want a better service and good german food, there are other restaurants in the city that i have already visited and rated much better! Feel free to take a look...

The rest of our group mostly stuck to schnitzel in various forms, and I think the very generous portions were a bit much for them (two escalopes per person!), though they did also enjoy the food. One of my friends had the Jägerschnitzel and it was piled high with onions and mushrooms, and he said it was really delicious. All in all a great meal, and if we did happen to be back in Mannheim I'm sure we'd go again....

The schnitzel at the next table looked superb btw.
At the end I paid a bit more than I expected from the prices in the menu. I had a small salad, though, but that had to come in at six or seven euro or something (which is too much for that tiny platelet in my opinion.)
But let's be real, good food, fair price and solid service. Will be back for...
