Cafe Bar Tribu — Restaurant in Munich

on october 4th 2025 about 8pm, i was here for the sympathy of seeing them without any customers. me and my friends saw this place as a cool bar with potentially good vibes along goetheplatz street. we thought "why not just get a drink and call it a night". out of nowhere, i dont know if im asian, this (call it bulky if you want) turkish waiter talked to us without any politeness (as supposed to customers). he then told us to get off the bar because im wearing track pant. i mean come on im here to support your business. and then his "twin" turkish bouncer tryna argue with us. such an attitude towards customers. i mean this looks like a bar (it would be a huge turn off seeing this as a club). why would a bar need a proper outfit? a bar is meant to have a chill night with casual wear regardless. seriously i mean good luck with your business in future....

I recently tried to visit tribu with a group of my English speaking Irish friends and was absolutely appalled by the way we were treated. Upon arrival, we were met with a bouncer who seemed to take an immediate disliking to us. Despite being well-dressed, the bouncer refused to let us in.

When we asked why, he just repeatedly said no and wouldn't give us a valid reason. I couldn't believe what was happening. Discrimination of any kind is completely unacceptable and it's a shame that tribu would allow such a person to work for them.

The bouncer was rude, unprofessional, and completely out of line. We were extremely disappointed and offended by this experience and will not be returning to this bar. I urge others to consider their actions towards all customers and to refrain from promoting prejudice and bigotry...

Stopped for a drink on the way back from Oktoberfest for a Cocktail and restroom break. Staff barely nodded when we walked in, sat for 10 minutes before anyone actually approached us, then we ordered a spritz. Okay, it’s not Italy, but it’s not a hard drink. Barely any ice and was already watered down. Went to pay, cash only. It’s a restaurant/bar!!! Marked no where I was forced to walk 25 minutes round trip To find cash and the waiters response was Far from correct and leave the French (where I live and notorious for lack of customer service), a total dream. Do yourself a favor and continue on to the next bar. Wouldn’t recommend this...
