Cafe Lozzi — Restaurant in Munich

I loved this place! The interior was super cute and cozy. Their desserts were delicious, we tried the peanut butter cake and cinnamon roll. I wish I could come back here to try the other cakes! Their fries were also really good. Only downside is that we had to wait in line for around 1 hour. I understand that it’s a popular place and there aren’t that many seats, but it could be better coordinated. At times it felt like the staff was not actively watching if any tables free up for the people waiting outside in the cold. When we finally went in, we saw that there were two different tables available, which meant we could have sat down earlier. Very cozy and full of lively young people. Coffee is great and there are a lot of cakes and other treats like cinnamon rolls to choose from.

The decor is a bit weird but interesting in a way: photos taken in various parts of the world (predominantly England and Sri Lanka from what I could see) with subtitles containing date and location.

It was quite packed and there was a line, so I’d recommend booking in advance. It’s easy to do through their website. It’s also a bar, and there are some cocktails in the menu (didn’t try any). A big plus is it’s open till later on Saturdays (midnight, unlike most other cafés).

Bad experience… I go often to this coffe shop and honestly I really like it, but today I had a really bad experience with a waiter. After I payed the bill, he came to me and told, in a very impolite way, that next time I have to pay tip. First of all, you don’t know my economic situation and if I can or not afford the tip you are asking for. And second, I work also as waiter and you have to assume that you don’t always get tips, like in normal jobs… I wish you to be able to treat better your customers, otherwise your career is not gonna go...
