We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at the hotel! It is conveniently located a stone's throw from Munich HBF. It is a bit of a walk to the old town and other attractions - 10-20 min - but you could also take the metro which is just around the corner from the hotel.

The staff we met at the reception throughout our stay were wonderful and really made the stay a lovely one. A special shoutout to Markus, who responded to our last minute request for late check in with meticulous instructions on how to enter the premises, and also arranged for our check in. (The reception is only staffed from 0630h - 2300h, and any late check in needs to be communicated to the staff so that they can make arrangement. Our train to Munich was horribly delayed and we ended up arriving 3h late! We had absolutely no trouble entering the hotel premises and collecting our key cards.)

The hotel room was very spacious (we had a double bed and a sitting area), clean, and facilities were well maintained. There is an air conditioner - something we have learned not to take for granted in the European summer! There is no daily housekeeping service, but guests could request for fresh towels. It was not a problem for us as we only stayed for 2 nights. The blackout curtains were also appreciated during the long summer days.

Within a 5 min walk from the hotel you will find many Middle Eastern eateries, but note that not all of them accept card.

All in all, it was an excellent stay at a fair price (for European peak summer travel season standard) and we will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends who will be...

The hotel is quite a distance to walk from the S-Bahn, especially coming/going to the airport. It was right at the opposite end of.the main train station. Shower area has a 6 inch high totally flat curb & no barrier to keep water from flowing over to the toilet area when showering. Replenishment of toiletries sounds good except that there is no way of using them as they are meant to be mounted onto the wall and not to be used as it is. Weird to provide unusable stuff. Hand soap needs to be squeezed instead of press pump. That goes for hair & body wash bottle as well. It is so user- Unfriendly & no outlet to mount the hair conditioner. There may be a water dispenser in the lobby. However, it's filled with lemon & basil. That's not to everyone's taste. Why can't they provide clear drinking water since there's no kettle in the rooms? Moreover, the glasses were so very tiny, holding only about 200ml. Hot water was tainted (contaminated) by the coffee remnants since this comes from the coffee machine. Wonder if the machine gets cleaned at all? Going eco friendly is good but using paper cups are not. There should be an option to use porcelain cups instead. The hotel seems to be saving staff costs by not having daily housekeeping, disposable coffee cups, self disposing rubbish, self help to amenities (toiletries that cannot be used) Coffee/tea in lobby only that's so inconvenient. The pillows are too soft that it's as good as not having a pillow sibce your head just hit the bottom, even with 2 pillows piled together. The hotel staff are great, the rooms are well lit & nice BUT...

This is such a charming little gem of a hotel! The front desk staff was outstanding (Thomas and Anna were extremely helpful and friendly—and spoke English perfectly!). When we needed recommendations for restaurants or any guidance, they had wonderful suggestions. The rooms are tasteful, clean and the beds comfy! (Just FYI the bathrooms are European style = smaller) Our room had a balcony that we really liked. I also highly recommend the breakfast buffet—a must do! It's filled with delicious treats (eg scrambled eggs, sausages, German classics cold cuts and cheese, delicious breads and pastries, and even a juicer and granola). It made a perfect way to start our mornings. I also highly recommend ordering their Lunch Packs if you do any day trips—we did this on a day we were visiting castles and it was so convenient (and tasty!). Also enjoyed the free coffee/tea machine in the lobby. The cappucinos were tasty and helped with our jetlag!

The location is very central—close to the train station and about 15 min walk to the downtown "sights". We had two rooms for our family —and guests included my father and my older teen son and we ALL loved the hotel! Would definitely stay again. Danke schön...

Room was a real disappointment without reasonable storage for clothes and personal items. Basically had to just put my belongings out in the open or leave in my bag. My bag kept falling off the shelf because it was so narrow. The only place to hang things was on a coat rack, bar with 6 posts that were so short my clothes kept falling to the ground. Seating was abysmal with a short stool next to the bed without a back. A narrow bench against a wall was too uncomfortable to use so basically ended up laying on the bed. No desk was provided. Place was clean. Bathroom was small but OK. Location very convenient, about 5 minutes to train station. Unattractive exterior and views from room unimpressive. Breakfast was good with decent selection of food. The lobby was small and the common areas are very limited and small, not providing much in the way of a place to hang out. Best for travelers who plan to spend very little time in the hotel other than sleeping, cleaning up and getting breakfast. Some rooms offer better accoutrement but not sure how you can guarantee you'll get a better room. I thought I had ordered one of their better rooms for my stay.

The room is compact for 2, but my sister and I had plenty of space for our needs. Everything sparkling clean and a veranda for fresh air! The breakfast is fantastic—such a selection and everything finest quality. The staff also was very professional and friendly. We parked our rental car (Kia Sportage) in the underground ramp and it fit, but just barely. Many of the spots have a metal ramp you drive up onto and park your car at a slant, to save a bit of space in the driving area. Both the breakfast and the parking fee can be booked in advance with the room, and I recommend especially the parking reservation because of limited spots. Location is very convenient, just around the corner from the main train station but on a quiet side street. We walked to Karlsplatz in 5 minutes (a bit tackier and a busier stretch, but we always felt safe) and from there maybe another 5-10 minutes along the pedestrian shopping street to Marienplatz, where the city hall with the Glockenspiel figures etc are found. Overall, highly recommend and would happily stay here again!
