Amazing bakery with a super modern concept connected to long-standing traditions and high standards of this handicraft. This store is a branch of the original place in Maxvorstadt.
All breads etc. are certified organic and regional. They only offer a small choice of food, some of it only on certain days, but it's all highest quality, hand-made, self-made according to traditional baking. You'll notice the rich flavours and long freshness of all their food. Of course, prices are higher than average but absolutely appropriate for what you get.
They reject industry-style, processed, bloated mass production. Staff is paid very well at work-life-friendly hours instead of having to wake up at 2 am at night e.g. for starting to bake. This also means that the shop opens and closes earlier. Also, they make everything freshly and at the quantity needed to prevent food waste. Hence, it's possible that they're sold out earlier. The owner is super passionate about his work which you can also see reflected in...

Already before you can smell or taste anything of the great baked goods, you’re greeted with beautiful esthetics and a wonderful interior. Nothing is left to chance or cluttered, it’s chosen and fits.
While entering you can see the passion and enthusiasm in people of both bakers and service, being focused and on their craft using all skill to produce the best possible.
All of the products fulfill highest standards. All breads, with the purposefully small selection, have a distinct flavor, great crumb development and a wonderful crust. To round things of, you can take a great coffee to go and really have all you need.
Julius, a compliment: you’ve succeeded on all levels. If you ever travel to Sweden, come and visit us at...
