I would not recommend this restaurant!! Myself and 3 friends arrived for some pancakes as this place had great reviews and looked good in the pictures. We got there and had to ask the male staff that was working there if we could sit outside which he muttered "yes" in response. We then sat for over 10 minutes waiting for a menu, and saw him watch us from inside the restaurant. I decided to go in and ask if we could order inside to which he also muttered "yes". I stared to order pancakes with a coffee and not once did the worker confirm he was taking my order or even listening to me. He had the rudest look on his face. I had to ask the questions as he was just standing there with a dead stare at me. I tried to pay with card but they only take cash he said, but again, in the rudest possible way. We turned around and left. They did not deserve our business here. For what looks like a great restaurant, it is actually the complete opposite. It's dark and dreary to be completely honest, and with a name like "Mr. Pancake" you would expect a bright and friendly space suitable for children and families, but again, this was the complete opposite. We ended up going to another cafe called the California Bean, where we were greeted with the friendliest and most accommodating staff, great food and drinks, and a warm and welcoming environment. The real 'Ms. Pancake'.
