Good food, good vibe, good service!✨
We ordered 4 dishes: 6pc sweet spicy chicken(boneless), 6pc volcano spicy chicken(with bones), Korean pancake and Octopus Bokkeum
The sweet spicy chicken is sweet, garlicky but not so spicy. It's really flavorful and yummy.
The volcano spicy chicken is overwhelmingly delicious. It's sweet, salty and moderately spicy. It's perfect!!🤯 You should not miss this. Highly recommend!!
Both chicken dishes are wonderful. They are flavorful, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. However, the crispiness didn't last so long. It lastes about 15 minutes after serving until it gets mushy. If this can be improved, it would be the chicken of my dreams. 🤩
The pancake was aromatic and crispy. It can be a bit too oily but when you dip it in the sour sauce, it tastes so good. It is a good appetizer to share with friends.
Bokkeum was served with rice and pickles for side dish. It is relatively good. The texture of octopus is bouncy and perfectly cooked. On the other hand, the sauce is not so flavorful as it looks. Another good thing is that there were a lot of vegetables in the dish and we loved the veggies.
The service is nice. Staff are friendly and willing to explain the menu to us. The atmosphere is superb. Drinks were refreshing. Despite having only 90 minutes to dine, we enjoyed every minute...
Read more89 Anju is a stylish and modern Korean restaurant with a cozy, contemporary vibe — perfect for casual dinners or small gatherings. The menu leans toward refined Korean dishes rather than traditional home-style meals, but the flavors are excellent.
I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and a Korean noodle dish(Japchae) (similar to cold noodles). The bibimbap came sizzling hot, with crispy rice at the bottom and a well-balanced mix of vegetables and sauce — very satisfying. The noodle dish was light, refreshing, and had a flavorful broth, great for those who prefer something less heavy.
One thing to note: the lunch and dinner menus are different. The lunch menu is more simplified and doesn’t include the small Korean side dishes (banchan) you typically get at dinner. So if you’re looking for the full Korean dining experience, I’d recommend coming in the evening.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic and well-executed Korean food in Munich!

Read moreThe food is pretty good and authentic. Meat quality could be improved for the pricing points they charge. Service yet below the standards in Munich and especially Korea (needed to wait 8 min at the door before someone was asking us if we have a reservation). Pricing in general: pretty aggressive. They ask 13 Euro for a Soju bottle - in Korea it costs 1,50 Euro in convenience stores. That is too much of an upcharge and leaves a bad impression about the intentions of the owner of the restaurant (“is he/she greedy?”). That should be fixed. 4 Euros should be a good price for a restaurant in Germany, if you have good supply chain skills - you can still get enough profits and the guest will buy more bottles. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and of its core strengths.
Overall: One of the better Korean restaurants in Munich with room for improvements. The restaurant will benefit from the fact that there is still not a lot of competition in Munich. I hope they fix the pricing into something more...
