Simply amazing, especially after a long trainride from Paris. The atmosphere is genuin and cozy, and the staff polite and helpfull to the point I am surprised he doesn't pass out from the speed he is moving, yet still have time for all the smalltalk we want. Food is, for me, fantastic aswell. Though it felt like a bit of a long time for the food to be prepared, it was well worth it. I had the mixed meat platter, and it was better than most highend resturants I've eaten at. They don't try to make it anything else but what it is, delicious meat. The currywurst was exquisit also. I don't know much about them michelin star things, but to be honest, I don't see why a tyre has anything to do in my food to begin with, but that's neither here nor there. A genuinly plesant experience all around, and the close proximity to the main trainstation makes this even more appealing. As laid-back travelers, we are very open to food experiences, but the food at this place was the biggest disappointment in our entire trip through Europe! I ordered schnitzel and potato salad. Instead, I got watery cold potatoes with chunks of onions and some timid cucumber pieces, and the schnitzel was the greasiest ever! My husband had a grilled mix that was detestable! He simply couldn't finish his meal. For the sake of each Munich's visitors' enjoyable experience, I advise you to avoid this place by all means! Been coming here for many years now. Run by the same family all this time. Very hearty German / Croatian food is highly recommended complimenting the Spaten and Franziskaner beers that are on offer here. English menu is available and the fluent English speaking waiter is very friendly and helpful. Only a small cozy place with a few outdoors tables for good weather al fresco drinking and dining, it sometimes gets full very quickly with overspill from the large adjacent biergarten.
