We have been to this place before, but today we were treated in a blatantly unfriendly manner. Before arriving, we called and asked if there were any free tables, to which we were told in the affirmative, "come". A few minutes later, at the entrance, we were met by a young man who said no, all tables are occupied/booked. No alternatives were offered (he just turned around and left), although in addition to the main terrace, the restaurant has a practically empty lawn with sun loungers. Not to mention that if there were still seats when we called, they could have offered to reserve a place for us. But that's already high level.
Apparently there were plenty of seats on the lawn, and as a friendlier waiter explained to us, in order to sit there, you have to order and pay inside. My husband went to do this and returned empty-handed, because the plate of appetizers we wanted to order was allegedly too big for the table by the sun loungers. Again, no alternative was offered, we were simply told an unfriendly NO, clearly showing that we and our money are not welcome here.
Thanks for ruining the mood. Disgusting service, this employee has never heard of customer focus, nor of how a company can lose face thanks to social...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a bit disappointed with the quality of the focaccia bread used on the Schiacciate. I ordered the one called āMa Che Scherziā and the bread was very dry, it looked like it was from some days ago. Definitely not like the focaccia bread I know from Italy. For the price point, I think 15 euros for a sandwich is a bit much. They are definitely not on the affordable end. I also had an Aperol spritz for 7,9 and it was ok, however keep in mind that the bars around can offer the same for 6,5 euros. The staff was the best part, the girls were all nice and kind to us. I appreciate that type of good service. The restaurant vibe was also nice, the outdoors feeling was refreshing for a summer dinner. Overall, I wouldnāt come back for the food, maybe just for drinks given the location. I would suggest to the management of the restaurant to work harder on the details and improve the quality...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time going to this restaurant, was not that easy to find it, due to some temporal street work in progress, however, the building where you find the restaurant is very nice, as well as the surrounding. Parking in the area is not that easy as you either have to hunt any empty slot, either park few streets away from the restaurant in paid garage parking. We were 2 couples and ordered 3 different types of food and some drinks, however we all considered it overpriced ( 1 Aperol spritzt costs 8 euros and it wasn't the best I ever had) and the pasta I had was not as tasty as expected. The staff was OK, they speak Italian, Deutsch and some English. Toilets fairly clean, but felt some bad odor. Overall, the place for us was one time experience and do not think...
