Went spontaneously to Diogenis to celebrate my Birthday. The food was phenomenal- from taramas to the lammteller, everything was delicious and the flavors were rich. The smokiness of the grilled products was just so delicious. Im not even talking about the white wine, as you could drink gallons of it one after another. They even bring you a basket of bread (free), but you could still order pita bread for a charge. I have to say, we ate a lot but I still had a fresh feeling:) Customer service was the first thing that caught my eye. The waiter is super humble and friendly, and will make you feel like you are at home. The chef is a greek gentleman from Ethiopia, and I believe this is why his cooking style is so original. LOVED this Greek restaurant that is close to Marianplatz but off the main trail. It was my son's first time eating Greek and he ate the entire meal! Small, charming with friendly staff (English not as proficient but still good). I had a very simple chicken dish - Kotopoolo, Hühnchenfilets, Kartoffeln, Schafskäsecreme, Salat and my son Gyros Vom Drehspies, Butterreis, Tzaziki, Salat. Prices are ridiculously inexpensive for the taste, quality and portions. LOVED...

Service 1/5 Da ging leider gar nix Ich Bin Es gewohnt beim Griechen zur Begrüßung/zum Abschied einen uzo zu bekommen (gut es war Mittag, mag sein dass sie es abends handhaben) Dann habe ich zu Beginn erstmal ein Weißbier bestellt und wegen der Mahlzeit noch überlegt. Als das Weißbier kam habe ich ein Mittagsmenü bestellt. Das beinhaltet das Essen (in meinem Fall Gyros und calamaris), als Beilage Reis, tzatziki und Salat. Statt dem Reis habe ich Pommes bestellt für 50 ct. Extra. Außerdem ist ein Softdrink beinhaltet. Ich habe ein Spezi bestellt. Das Essen kam auffallend schnell. Allerdings mit Reis statt pommes. Die Spezi kam gar nicht und ich dachte mir Na gut dann trinke ich nur das Bier Auf der Rechnung wurde mir das Weißbier allerdings extra berechnet und der komplette menüpreis. Und das obwohl ich keinen Softdrink erhalten habe. Immerhin Die 50 ct für Die Pommes wurden nicht berechnet.

Essen: 3/5 Das Gyros war okay. Allerdings überhaupt nicht knusprig und etwas fett. Das hat auch eine Frau am Nebentisch bemängelt. Die calamari waren frittierte Ringe und haben ganz gut geschmeckt. Der Reis war nur butterreis und nicht wie vom Griechen gewohnt mit Paprika/Tomaten/aivar.
