Lindt Boutique München — Local services in Munich

When I think of Lindt, I think of a premium chocolate worth the extra investment. Every year at Christmas I purchase an excessive and expensive amount of chocolates from the brand. This year I had the severe displeasure to encounter a salesperson in this location who decided to effectively Scrooge and Grinch all over the enjoyment I had in purchasing SEVENTY FIVE EUROS worth of truffles.

After dropping the chocolates on the floor and counter she chastised me “you need to use a bag! This doesn’t work for our scale” - perhaps there is some service solution alternative to barking at your lifelong, repeat consumers who are enjoying the experience of shopping all the amazing products and flavors in your shop. After taking my money, she said “Bye”, no thank you or friendliness. (16/11 @ 17:39)

I have to say besides that, the shop is pretty lovely, a little small but creates a cheerful, bustling atmosphere. The products are delicious as always, I enjoyed sampling them while filling up my Christmas Calendar. Unfortunately, this experience has soured me...

Ich bin eigentlich ziemlicher Lindt-Fan. Auch wenn die kleinen Leckereien etwas teurer sind, bin ich bereit dafür etwas mehr Geld auszugeben und war bisher auch regelmäßig in diesem Shop. Gestern habe ich mich allerdings etwas über das Personal in der Lindt-Boutique am Karlsplatz Stachus geärgert. Ich habe Lindt-Kugeln für knapp 40 € gekauft und mir kleine Zellophan-Tütchen (4 Stück) dazu genommen, da ich die gekauften Kugeln nachträglich aufteilen und verschenken wollte. An der Kasse wurde ich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass die Tütchen 2 Cent pro Stück kosten, außer die Tüte, die mit den Kugeln befüllt wurde. Sorry, bei einem Kaufwert von knapp 40€ erwarte ich, dass man entweder die Tütchen umsonst on top bekommt oder man zumindest eine Kugel for free bekommt (früher, bis vor einem halben Jahr war das so). Außerdem war der Mitarbeiterin wohl nicht bewusst, dass ich auch die Möglichkeit gehabt hätte, im Laden die ausgewählten Kugeln auf die vier Tütchen aufzuteilen, dann wären die Tütchen nach Ihrer Aussage umsonst gewesen. Ich wollte aber nicht diskutieren und habe kopfschüttelnd den Kaufpreis plus die 8 Cent für die Tütchen gezahlt. Um ehrlich zu sein, ärgert es mich aber im Nachhinein, dass ich nicht doch zu Diskutieren angefangen habe, denn so vertreibt man bisherige Stammkunden. Ich weiß nicht, ob mich der Laden noch mal sieht, da manchen Mitarbeiterinnen in diesem Shop die Worte Kundenbindung/ -orientierung/ -freundlichkeit fremd...

I am a huge Lindt fan. I have been shopping at Lindt for years now. It was the first time that I visited the store at Karlsplatz in München. The blonde hair lady, was very rude and made me feel so uncomfortable. Girl, if you’re reading this - you are a saleswoman, behave like one. You ain’t gonna get anywhere in life with this attitude.
