Arion Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Nuremberg

Really good food, somewhat limited beverage selection. Two vegetarian main dishes. Service needs improvement.

We went to get dinner at arion two times. The first time the service was very good - we were seated outside and didn't know we had to ring for the waiter to come. It wasn't too busy, it was a Thursday but it was a German Holiday. Staff was very friendly, and the food didn't take too long. The Korean fried chicken was outstanding. The other main dishes were delicious as well. The kimchi is spicy but very delicious as was the radish served with the chicken.

The second time was quite unpleasant. We had a reservation for 6 people. It was Friday evening so we expected it to be busy. But we waited 40 minutes for our drinks. It took some 45 mins until we got our first appetizer. We were missing two sets of cutlery. We had to ask two times while the appetizers were getting cold. The main dish was served 90 mins after we had ordered and before we got the second appetizer. Not all main dishes were served at the same time - some people were almost finished when others received theirs. The food was delicious although some was luke warm when served. Unfortunately the wait staff while friendly never addressed the long wait times. Finally there was some albeit understandable confusion about an unpaid item of another party. The waiter however persisted we pay for the item (we offered two other people to sit at our table since there were two chairs left and apparently they forgot to pay for an 6.5€ appetizer). Since we spent around 200 € including a large tip given the messy service we didn't feel appreciated.

Hopefully the restaurant will be able to get more front and back house staff since the food is delicious but the service seems to not...

I’ve been living in Germany Germany for many years now, and I always felt there weren’t many good Korean restaurants in Nuremberg — but that changed with Arion! 🫢

I visited today, and honestly, it was the best Korean food I’ve had in a long time! 😍

I didn’t get to take photos of everything, but we had bulgogi jungol, boneless ganjang, boneless honey garlic, and sundubu-jjigae — all of them were so delicious! 😋

The staff were super friendly and kind, and communication went really smoothly 👍 The place was a bit busy, but the team handled everything so well — food came out quickly and with a smile 😆

My friend was also super impressed and said it was one of the best meals she've had recently 👏 We already promised to come back soon! 🤪

The restaurant had a cozy and warm Korean vibe, which made me feel right at home ❤️👏

The staff were very friendly! We were a bit worried since we had kids with us, but they were very accommodating, and we really appreciated it. The food was delicious — we finished everything. Even the kids ate really well! The restaurant is well-prepared for children (kids’ tableware and high chairs are available) making it a great place to visit with little ones. The clean and neat interior also added to our confidence in the restaurant. Since it hasn’t been long since their opening, a few menu items were not...
