Pasha Kebab — Restaurant in Nuremberg

The best Döner kebab i’ve ever been able to try, in my life!

Now, coming from England, i’m used to having the same old sloppy, dirty, tasteless kebab strips. And for 85% of them, that’s all you ever get. But i’m delighted to say this isn’t just any plain old ordinary kebab shop, no, you’re getting a truly authentic Berliner style doner in Deutschland. Maybe not in Berlin, but a damn comparison to kebab shops back over home.

The guy who was behind the counter was such a nice chap, btw, he really was salt of the earth. He was trying so hard to converse with me in English, but bless him, he didn’t know all that much, understandably, of course. He was just excellent, despite the language barrier.

In Germany, Döner is one of the most popular foods, often prepared by Turkish chefs. I travel a lot and have had the chance to try it in many places, but Pasha offers one of the most unique flavors I’ve ever experienced — especially for such a small döner shop.

Their homemade bread, fresh meat (you can tell from the aroma alone), and daily fresh vegetables combine perfectly with their delicious homemade sauces. The result is a Döner that feels both authentic and special.

Having tried a good number of Doner shops across Nuremberg, Pasha is the one and only place my girlfriend and I keep coming back to. Best I've ever had, and the quality has been consistently amazing over the past two years I've been able to occasionally visit.

I always get the Big Doner, it's always loaded with meat without needing to ask for it, we always share a box of fries which are also consistently...
