I recommend this restaurant and I will bring family and friends here. This place is a cross between a bar and the living room of your well traveled aunt or uncle. There are many nooks and crannies, and semi-private areas. Every area has different decor so it’s like being in a different restaurant. Great for small groups (4) or larger group. Larger groups can be accommodated in the rear of the dining area. This is not an intimate quiet place. This is where you bring your family and friends and eat, drink, catch up on old times, and make plans for new food times. They have high benches, let them know if you have short legs. It could be awkward to wait for an available table. The back of the brunch area is very warm. Remember to dress in layers. If there is a special area you want to sit in, let them know. Go to their website and see what area you want to sit in. There is a parking lot “Nürnberger Akademie” which is close is you are driving. If you are taking the U-Bahn, the Wohrder Weise station is a 6 minute walk away. Payment by Visa card...
Read moreOne star is far too generous for the utter disaster we experienced at this establishment. We ordered a vegan Flammkuchen (pizza) and received a vegetarian one instead. As ethical consumers, we reluctantly accepted it, not wanting to waste food. When we brought up the mistake, our server was shockingly rude, dismissing our concerns and blaming the kitchen without a hint of remorse.
To top it off, the bill included the nonexistent vegan Flammkuchen (pizza), adding insult to injury. It took a vehement argument for them to correct the bill. The server, in a display of unprofessionalism, yelled at us and treated us with disdain for their mistake, arrogantly claiming infallibility.
This place not only fails at getting orders right but also excels in providing atrocious customer service. The attitude was unacceptable, culminating in a humiliating experience. It seems they value being busy over getting things right, a sad excuse for a dining establishment. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place...
Read moreWent with a friend to have brunch, they were full and packed so it took a while for them to take our order. One hour later we realised everyone around was being served except us so we asked again and turns out they forgot our order, so we ordered again. When the food arrived they just said “sorry”. The food was good but too expensive for the amount, time and flavour. I asked for still water and they brought a jar with water full of lemon, which i really don’t appreciate. The space is super nice and a good vibe, but they cannot handle everyone when is full. In the end when we paid, the waiter asked if everything was alright and i said “yes, except for the forgotten order and waiting time” and he just smile and we had to pay for everything as normal. Really not a good experience, I...
