I’ll start with the positive the meat in both el pastor and carnitas tacos were good. Negative I came two days and both days I asked for no onion in my tacos and they put so much. This is not ok especially for people with allergies. If you have allergies you can’t just remove it you have to remake the whole order and that’s a waste of food. I let it slide the first day I came but then it happened again and I told the waitress. She was so unbothered by it which is not ok because once again if you have an allergies and paying for something than you should get what you asked for. I didn’t appreciate her lack of sympathy and lack of apologies. I use to be a waitress and would have never acted with such little concern as she did. Also the kitchen needs to pay better attention this one directly her fault as she didn’t cook the food but to ask for something as simple as do not add onions to my food and you proceed to add a whole onion to it is concerning for the lack of attention. Overall i will not be giving this place a third chance. I came here a second time to give them a second chance to get my order right and they did not. That’s unfortunate service is high in my list for why I come to places more than the actual food. I added pictures of both times I came. I removed onion on both. Kindness is free I don’t understand why is it so hard for all European establishments to...
Read moreCalifornia girl here who's been living in Regensburg for almost 2 years now. So you can bet I miss authentic Mexican food. My boyfriend and I discovered this place around the time it first opened and we instantly became regulars. This place was the closest I could find to authentic Mexican food in Germany. We ate here at least once a week for the first few months and always ordered the same meal. Bowl, tortilla on the side, tortilla chips, guacamole, side of salsa verde, and lemon rasberry mint drinks. Usually costs about 20 euro for everything and this meal was the perfect amount for us to share. Today was our first visit in a few months, and again we order the same exact thing we always do. The bowl portion has now been cut nearly in half as well as the tortilla chips/guac. We were charged an extra euro for the salsa, and almost got charged for the tortilla (which doesn't make sense because the bowl with a tortilla on the side is essentially a burrito) and we both walked out still hungry. I'm not sure I'll be returning for awhile because of this. 3 stars at least because the food is delicious and for being unique to Regensburg! Just not sure if the price...
