Very unwelcoming, it seemed like we were a bother.

Unfortunately had a negative experience here. I was waiting inside by the "wait to be served" sign with no one coming to me, despite there being a number of staff sitting looking at me from the back of the restaurant. Finally, not knowing what to do I asked them "are you open?" The response was... "The door's open" after which, I asked if we could sit outside (there were many tables) and the response was simply "no." Haven't tried the food but definitely wouldn't recommend this place based on...

You definitely get your money worth here! We had the potato and shrimp soup as an appetizer, which was just magnificent. The service was also great, the lady was lovely and she could speak some English as well, which was nice.

The main dishes we had were delicious too, we were stuffed! The interior was just adorable as well. It wasn't very touristy when we went but the restaurant was full with people, which says alot.

Nice and simple German restaurant where you can try many Franconian specialties. I had the "Fränkischer Sauerbraten," which is a sour beef dish accompanied by potato dumplings and a fresh salad. The beef was juicy and tender, and the black sauce was delicious. The potato dumplings were also good, with their characteristic gooey consistency. The service and atmosphere were okay.
