Mangal Mezze & Grill — Restaurant in Saarbrücken

My family and I enjoyed eating dinner here. The people who helped us were very hospitable and kind.

We enjoyed their warm bread as appetizer, the dips that came with were also delicious.

We ordered 2 grill plates that were meant for 4 people. We were with 5 people, but there was still some food left after we ate!

The only thing we didn’t really like was that the only place where we could sit at the moment was by the staircase.

But even then. The decorations and lighting of the atmosphere made it a lot better! If you reserve a table beforehand, you’ll probably be seated just fine!

It’s a bit pricey to eat here. But if you like good food, a good atmosphere and nice people it shouldn’t...

Came here based on the pictures, hoping to get some wonderful and generous dishes from the grill. I have to say the pictures that are shown are very misleading and not representative. Apparently there is a new concept with smaller portions. I didn’t see any of the lavish dishes on the other tables either. The restaurant tries a fine dining approach, I guess…small dishes and high prices. The food is alright, but does not justify the prices in my opinion. As reference I attached the lamb I ordered. A really excellent place to experience Turkish food. The dishes are carefully prepared and fine quality. We enjoyed six mezze and the deluxe mixed grill (at least two more people would have had an ample dinner with the generous portions). The restaurant is very stylish and the high quality of furnishings shows everywhere, from the comfortable seats to the delicate Zwiesel stemware. A Turkish red goes very well with all dishes.
