Our dining experience at L'Osteria on Friday evening, August 4th, 2023, was truly exceptional, deserving a solid 5/5 stars. Despite the restaurant being busy, the manager went out of his way to ensure we had a delightful time, even without a reservation. He suggested we wait at the bar, where we found delightful pistachio nuts that added a charming touch to the experience.
Though the barman was occupied, we didn't mind as we indulged in the pistachios and explored the drinks and food menu. The manager surprised us with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, making us feel warmly welcomed and appreciated.
Seating was provided promptly, and I was thrilled to discover that the restaurant accommodated English-speaking guests, earning them another 5/5 stars for thoughtfulness. The authentic Italian ambiance was captivating, and the dishes coming from the kitchen looked incredibly enticing. However, the standout feature was the size of the pizzas—they were simply enormous!
We couldn't resist the unique option to order two half-and-half pizzas on one base, allowing us to sample four delectable flavors. I opted for the Degli Artisti and the BBQ Chicken, while my girlfriend savored the Prosciutto Crudo and the Rustica.
The pizzas were exceptional—perfectly cooked with a delectable thin crust and generous toppings. I simply had to compliment the chef for their masterful creations. My favorites, the Degli Artisti and BBQ Chicken, were so delightful that I found it challenging to stop eating, but I relished every bite.
The ambiance at L'Osteria was vibrant and authentic, truly reminiscent of a genuine Italian eatery. Our waiter was attentive and respectful, making sure our orders were taken without unnecessary interruptions. The friendly staff further enhanced the experience, making us feel at ease throughout the evening.
As an engineer, I greatly appreciate efficiency, and the manager's evident control of the restaurant's operations, alongside the contented staff, left a lasting impression.
In conclusion, our visit to L'Osteria was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm welcome to the delectable pizzas and top-notch service, everything contributed to an unforgettable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend L'Osteria to anyone in search of an authentic Italian gastronomic adventure in...
Read moreTerrible experience here today when we first entered the restaurant, we were told to sit at the bar and wait for 3-5 minutes for our table to be clean. We however, waited for more than 20 minutes and asked one of the staff if our table is ready, she told us that one of her college will come, but no one did. After another 10minute wait we ask one of the manager(she looks like one) she immediately cleaned one table for us. We then sit down, got all German menu, and was trying to find someone who can give us an English menu to read, we ask the same staff that told us her college will come serve us, and turns out she start yelling at us and sound really annoyed, I guess she is not really good at English and probably had a stressful day and a but racist (cause she was yelling at us but smiling and more patient with other customers )but hey I just want an English menu. And yes she ruined our family dinner. She has a tattoo throughout her whole left arm, dyed her hair blond and tied a ponytail, so if any of her boss sees this, please do something about it. Glad we had another cute and nice staff that serves us at the end. Food was alright, just that there were only 3 shrimps and a bunch of spaghetti in one of the dish which is quite pricey with the amount of shrimp in it, everything else was great, but I think it's mostly ruined by the terrible...
Read more🚩HORRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered one pizza/salad for take away at 9pm. The online portal quoted 10- 15 minutes wait time. I arrived at 9:20 and my order request/ticket was still sitting behind the bar.
Upon waiting at the bar for another 10 minutes, I was told to take my own ticket to the kitchen. Confused I stopped a cook who took my ticket and then proceeded to process other orders.
10 minutes later , I stop what looks like a manager to help me but he does nothing but ask me to wait. After another 10 minutes I stop another waitress to ask about my food. They still had not touched my order of one pizza and one salad.
I watch the kitchen and notice there was a-lot of confusion around two pizzas being passed back and forth. The pizzas sat around with no one claiming them. Aggravated, I figure one of them “is not” my pizza - since they do not hand it to me, and I focus my attention on something else.
AN HOUR after ordering at 10pm - I finally get my one pizza and one salad and walk one minute across the courtyard to the hotel to eat.
**THE PIZZA WAS STONE COLD. Which means they gave me the pizza that was sitting around for at-least 45 minutes.
Unacceptable. There were several other frustrated take-away patrons also sitting with no service. This location needs to work on communication, processing...
