Ristorante Cavallino — Restaurant in Stuttgart

Mi sono recato a cena in questo locale Lunedì 12 Agosto 2024 con la mia ragazza e due nostri amici, non appena sono arrivato a Stoccarda con un volo da Pisa (Italia), in quanto avrei dovuto gareggiare al German Open Championship. La mia ragazza che è celiaca ha ordinato un piatto di pasta all’arrabbiata (ovviamente dichiarando di essere CELIACA e quindi allergica al glutine). Anche io ho ordinato una pasta all’arrabbiata (normale). Ci sono stati serviti i piatti, ma, purtroppo, evidentemente scambiati, nonostante quello della mia ragazza sia stato portato con tanto di bollino dichiarante “senza glutine”; perciò io ho mangiato la pasta senza glutine e lei quella normale (non sapendolo ovviamente). Rientrati immediatamente in albergo e andati a dormire per l’imminente gara del giorno seguente (13 agosto), alle 4.30 di notte la mia ragazza ha iniziato a stare molto male (vomito e diarrea), ed è stato necessario un ricovero urgente in ospedale con tanto di lavanda gastrica e flebo. Gli esami del sangue hanno escluso qualsiasi forma virale, batterica o infezioni, e i medici ci hanno assicurato che fosse stata una reazione allergica all’ingestione di glutine. Leggo nelle recensioni che non siamo il primo caso. Io e la mia ragazza eravamo anche soli a Stoccarda, con le famiglie a casa in ansia; la mamma della mia ragazza ha contattato il ristorante parlando direttamente con lo chef, il quale ha negato anche un loro possibile errore umano nel servizio. Ovviamente non abbiamo potuto gareggiare, nemmeno nei giorni seguenti, nonostante avevamo sostenuto tutte le spese di iscrizione alla competizione, voli, hotel ecc. Nessuno dei proprietari del ristorante si è più fatto sentire… Che tristezza.

Non prendetevi la responsabilità di servire il senza glutine se non siete in grado di garantirne...

Very high pricing - Bad quality. We went here on new year's eve. The prices were a lot higher than on the menu on their website. There was very limited choices available on the menu of the night. We all had the carpaccio salmon and a ravioli. The carpaccio came straight out of the fridge and was literally ICE COLD, and it tasted like nothing. The ravioli was not really warm and tasted not special either. The cheapest white wine was €7,50 per glas and was very mediocre, didn't justify the price at all. Would not at all recommend...

Qualitativ gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, das Essen ist wirklich fein (Carpaccio, Antipasti-Auswahl, Oktopus, Linguine mit Venusmuscheln in unserem Fall), die Präsentation der Speisen ansprechend. Preis-Leistung ebenfalls völlig im Rahmen. Es gibt aber einfach einige Dinge, die für mich für einen fünften Stern dazugehören. Insgesamt fehlte mir ein wenig die Herzlichkeit im Service. Ja, wir waren zum ersten Mal vor Ort (wir wohnen halt weit weg von Stuttgart), aber das sollte für mich keinen Unterschied machen. Gast ist Gast. Die Wartezeiten sind teils recht lang, wobei das für mich nicht schlimm ist, ich bin kein Freund davon, wenige Minuten nach Bestellung bereits das Essen auf dem Tisch zu haben. Was schon eher ärgert: Der Tisch links von uns bekommt als Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses Oliven vorab. Der Tisch rechts ebenfalls. Wir nicht - das sind schon einmal Kleinigkeiten, die einfach nicht passieren dürften. Beim Bezahlen wurde eine Flasche Wasser zu viel berechnet. Kein Problem, kann passieren. Es muss kein Drama draus gemacht werden und ich erwarte auch keinen Bückling der Bedienung, aber zumindest ein "Entschuldigung" wäre angebracht gewesen. Beim Verlassen des Lokals sind dann die beiden Bedienungen (die waren in der Tat ausgelastet) beschäftigt, so dass man nicht einmal ein "Danke" oder "Arrivederci" zu hören bekommt. Passt einfach nicht, wenn man zuvor doch einiges an Geld (gerechtfertigt wohlbemerkt) ausgegeben hat... Von daher "nur"...
