This was a different take on the normal doner I have eaten in Wurzburg .
I had the veal meat and this came with a salad that contained pomegranate pieces that add a slight sweet and sour taste which for me was great.
I had all 3 sauces added to the doner (garlic sauce, chilli sauce and the traditional doner sauce) all very tasty.
I would have preferred more meat ,but apart from that this is a great little spot offering a different take on a German tradition of doner.
They also have vegan options meaning there’s something for everyone.
The music in the premises was not to my taste and somewhat loud, but that did not diminish the taste of the food or my experience .
It is made for taking away with a few stand up tables outside the premises, however, theirs public benches across the area.

Read moreMy son study in Wurzberg and recommended Berliner Doner Halal joint at Wurzberg. It was so busy and que was so long. Me & my wife waited almost 40 minutes to get our order. I took the original beef and my wife special one. It was so yummy and filling. One of the best doner better than several we had in Turkey. My tip is to have beef one it's 10 times better than chicken one. There is no seating possible in this restaurant but outside there are plenty of public benches so no worries have your doner fresh sitting on public benches under the tree. There is ALDI adjoining to Berliner Doner so you can have drink from there at minimum...
Read moreThe bread dotted with sesame seeds smells so good and tastes so crispy! adding a delightful crunch to each bite. The combination of beef or chicken along with fresh vegetables and pomegranate, made for a truly satisfying meal.
Yet the the sauce was too much, masking the natural flavors of the meat and vegetables, also made the crispy bread moist, what a pity…
We were given a stamp card, allowing us to collect points at their other locations.
Here overall, is a great place to grab a quick and tasty meal in Würzburg. Wanna try falafel...
