Weinstube und Bierkeller Till Eulenspiegel — Restaurant in Würzburg

Nice place that's obvious but it can't be enough for the treatment we received. We were 4 people, one of us didn't order anything because in an half an hour Sha would have taken the bus and we didn't want her to wait outside ALONE under the snow , the manager or whatever, came to us and said that if she wouldn't ordered anything than she had to leave. We explained the situation but he was so rude and insisted that she had to go. Since our arrival in Germany for study, we haven't NEVER faced a situation like this. We won't come back ever and won't advise anyone to go there especially if you are only passing by to say hi to a friend. Ps: the guy spoke to us in German, fortunately two of us could understand him. Service was totally unprepared for a full house. The staff was unorganized and we had to order our beer and schnitzel two times. Even when we ordered the beer directly at the bar we had to wait for about 45 min. When I asked whether they will bring the schnitzel as we were waiting for it over an hour, the staff was very unfriendly. They brought us two wrong drinks which we had to return and we had to speak up on a wrong billing in the end. Not a good experience. It is a nice place in regards of location and inventory but it was very cold and they didn't provide any blankets or similar to do something against...

Ich und meine Freundin gehen normalerweise sehr gerne in die Weinstube. Warum? Weil es einfach super schmeckt und vorallem das Personal total nett und gut ist. Aber jetzt ist uns zum zweiten mal aufgefallen dass die Qualität des Essens total schwankt. Die Küche ist im normalfall top. Aber manchmal ist der Chef Koch nicht da und das merkt man extrem !!!! Das gleiche Essen dass wir normal immer bestellen schmeckt total schlecht. Beim ersten mal dachten wir okay, kann passieren. Denn normalerweise ist das Essen ja gut. Und auf Anfrage haben wir dann erfahren, dass manchmal der Chefkoch nicht da ist und anscheinend eine Aushilfe den kompletten Betrieb in der Küche übernimmt. Das Essen ist dadurch katastrophal. Bezahlen muss man aber trotzdem normal ! Und auf Anfrage ob man etwas neues bekommt ist das nicht möglich. Jetzt sitzen wir gerade nochmal hier in der Weinstube, wollten wie gewohnt unser Essen bestellen, aber das Essen war wieder katastrophal. Und ich bin eigentlich jemand der keine hohen Ansprüche hat. Wir sind einfach nur das gute Essen hier gewohnt. Wir haben direkt nachgefragt ob etwas mit der Küche nicht stimmt und wir bekamen als Antwort, dass der Chefkoch wieder nicht da sei. Wie kann es sein dass die Qualität so schwankt? Und natürlich müssen wir wieder voll bezahlen. Ich überlege mir 5 mal ob wir hier nochmal herkommen. Und das ist total schade weil wir die Weinstube lieben. Und wäre man uns mit Verdtändnis entgegengekommen wäre das auch wieder eine andere Sache. Aber nein,man bekommt manchmal einfach schlechtes Essen für den selben Preis. Sehr schade !!! Wir gehen jetzt in eine andere Weinstube essen.
