D Cafe (East Legon) — Restaurant in Accra

Second visit to D Cafe. First visit was good- the waitress was attentive and the coffee & pastries were good. Second visit, I left without even placing a food order. I walked in, the place wasn’t busy and there were plenty of staff standing around talking at the counter, so I thought that was a good sign of things to come. Nope! As I was seated, I said “I’ll start with an espresso”. 10 minutes later, they brought me my drink, and never came back even 30 minutes later. I had to get up to go to the counter to pay(not happy and very hungry), and the same crew was still just standing around talking when I walked up. I told the same waitress that I would have liked to have eaten but she never came back, and she just looked at me-no apology. The difference between the first visit and the second is that the owner or manager was there on the first visit, and not there on the second. When the cats away, the mice will play(with your money)smh. I won’t be back- went to The Good...

Listen customer service ALL over Ghana is NOT GOOD AT ALL! Had a tiny issue staff didn’t understand somethings but the owner is AMAZING! Please forgive any staff issues you may experience here hopefully things will become better but the food the prices are enough to say that anyone who gave less than 4 stars is probably not being realistic. The cheesecake was the best by far I’ve had in Accra. I’ve had in Ghana & I’ve gone to places Ghanaians have never heard of within their own country. My friend had a some cake & some coffee called me said get over here and I was there. Didn’t disappoint I’m glad I was able to speak with the owner was misquoted on some prices but I’m happy I found this place. Very much better than Vida Cafe which was my go to but this is ten times better & closer to where I live too. My friend was actually headed to one of those cafes when his driver dropped him here by accident he said no let me try it. Great place....

Parking space is quite limited but understandable for a café. It's a really convenient spot for meetings and work. Take away Order was : spring roll, chicken sandwich with iced tea and strawberry milkshake (2 separate orders). Packaging wasn't the best. Drinks were placed in a cut out cardboard🙄. We loved the food because it's healthy and very tasty. Definitely a must try!!! Service was kind of tricky for us first timers. We went to take a seat and were waiting to be attended to for about 10 mins not knowing to walk up to the counter to order or not. I recommend it for it's unique taste (food)...
