I was on the Tema motorway, heading to spintex.Called 11:32am to find out if there’re open? It’s started they open at 11:00. A lady pick up and said he’s they’re, I thought of placing an order because I didn’t want to go sit whiles the food we’d being prepared as usual, she said to me: we literally just opened it’s shouldn’t be busy just walk in plus I’m not around at the moment. I was surprised because how can the place be opened but the phone customers can reach on isn’t. I drove there only to be told nothing is ready !!! And this was the reason why I called because I didn’t want to waste my time getting there. Wasted 34 minutes of my time when I could have been home, and still hungry. Quiet disappoint! Hopefully they keep customer phone at the restaurant to give accurate information...

On a busy Monday afternoon at the office I was looking for a place where I could order Ampesi and get that homemade vibe. I googled, “buy delicious ampesi in east LEGON “ And Bantama Avenue showed up first. Called them and the price of Ampesi amazed me because theirs was moderate. Received the Ampesi and my eyes first lit up when I opened the package 😋🌞😃. There was so much food 🎊😍. The Kobi (salted dry tilapia) was well cooked, soft and not as salty as it usually is. The tuna as well. The Kontomire Abom was just perfect. Right amout of groundnut, pepper onion and peas. No itchy after effect in the mouth either. My tastebuds are just super excited right now. I enjoyed every bit...

I don’t understand the hype AT ALL. The service was so bad that myself and my family left before even making an order. The place was so dirty and there were flies all over. The server did not welcome us, did not ask us if we wanted to have something to drink and did not want to take our order. He was angry when we flagged him down to speak with us. The place was practically empty— there must have been about only two other tables with a couple of people eating so he definitely wasn’t busy. Ugh. Never go there. Northern Platter is about a 4 minute drive away with MUCH better service and...

Tried out this local food joint in one of the prime residential areas in Accra. The order took forever to be ready and there were flies all over (given the waiter don't quickly clean after customers)...we had to prompt the waiters to clean up the table besides us. The ambience and atmosphere was okay with their choice of music okay. The food price is modest but the tilapia was a bit on the high end. The Food tasted good though and was worth it. Might visit again.

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very traditional. The food is amazing. The menu has a wide range of foods that are not common to find in Accra. From Eto to ampesie to kyinkafa plus the omo tuo on sundays (reservations only). The Fufu is the main attraction to this place as it rightfully deserves to be. To top it all off, the food is super affordable.
