The staff and manager were very friendly and nice. They gave us some sweet snacks and nuts while we waited. I’m always surprised how slow service is in Ghana. I ordered a beer and it took almost 35 min to get. That being said my kids ordered juices and I watched our server make them fresh and they were delicious. Just seems obvious to bring the beer that takes 5 min to serve rather than waiting until after the juices are made 30 min later, just a thought and a little feedback. My son had the burger, it was ok and my daughter had the blt that she said was a little plain. So the food didn’t wow us, but again, the staff was great and the place was clean and pleasing and I appreciate that. We will try again.

Update: Uhg, gave it another try. Asked for things on the menu that might not take too long since we were on a timeline. Still waited nearly an hour and after ordering the mild shawarma wrap, it came out so spicy my lips went numb. Not to mention there was hot dogs in the wrap, weird (not in a good way). I appreciate that they took it back but at this point we were already going to be late getting to our next thing. It took another 20 min to get whatever it is they remade for us. And another 15 minutes to get it wrapped and pay for the bill. We had to ask to have it packaged up. I still haven’t eaten it. It was a waste of time and money. Won’t be back,...

Bourbon House CafƩ has been one of my favourite places since 2016. It has recently relocated from A&C Square to a bigger space just behind the square (Catface Street).

The new place is more spacious and has updated decor. It is still work in progress and could do with some work on the flow of traffic from the dining area, displays, bar, and kitchen.

The garden sitting area is a nice added touch.

They have managed to keep the quality of food and coffee consistent through the years.

The staff is friendly and responsive. The service, though, is extremely slow - so much so that if I had visited on a workday, I would have opted to leave. A smoothie should not take more than 30 minutes to serve.

I hope the management does what is necessary to remedy the...

I absolutely loved Bourbon House Cafe and it is one place I’d totally revisit. We chose this spot for a girls reunion and we didn’t regret it. The ambience is cozy and warm. No glaring lights, not too cold or too hot and there are couches for people that would like to eat in a group, though I would recommend more spacious tables. The staff is friendly, the manager/owner (don’t know which) was also friendly and asked how we liked the place. There is a VIP section which costs 50 cedis per head. The bathroom is clean and okay. For food, the spaghetti and meatballs and pancakes are just šŸ’Æ. Their food is generally very nice. Will make a point to visit again so I could try out their pastries. I’d give...

Visited Friday evening and immediately felt the mellow vibe of the establishment. It was a bit too brightly lit but everything else was just perfect until the live jazz trio came on and then it was heavenly! Labanj Jazz with their cool smooth jazz sound played all the favorite hits along with quite a few popular local numbers. It was a festive sing-along for the r at of the evening. The dinner menu is extensive and the salmon I ordered came with a delicious veggie twist... and some hot pepper sauce šŸŒ¶ļø I gave it 4½ ⭐ being nitpicky because it took a while to serve all 9 of us. The Bourbon House Cafe has become my favorite Friday night hangout in Accra! 5⭐
