I ordered waffles with no syrup. I was told to wait 20 minutes so I sat down and waited 25 minutes and during that 20 minutes a family also came to order four takeout packs of almost half the menu. So now it’s 26 minutes and their order is ready and they are Leaving so I walk to the counter and ask when my waffles will be ready and the lady who I placed my order with says to me “ you placed an order “ so they didn’t even put in my order the whole time meanwhile the manager was right beside her the whole time. The manager now remembers me and says yes she did place an order. Now the lady who took my order is still trying to deny that she was the one who took my order. She now says she will now input my order which basically means I wasted my time and now I need to wait another 20 minutes. So they don’t even say sorry they just tell me to wait for another and the female manager is just sitting there. I tell them keep it I don’t want it and still no one says sorry. This is my fifth worst experience with Rocomamas.
Another time I went there my friends and I ordered and it was just wicked one my friends was eating her fries and bit into something turns out it was silver shine which is used to scrub stuff not one not two but practically twelve of them. Then my other girl gets a burger and bits into it and puts it down because it turns out the onions are ice cold as in fresh from the freezer cold so we ask the manager why and he just try’s to make it seem like a joke but it’s not funny at all. Finally my other girl gets her waffles and in between them is a long hair covered in syrup. As in long hair so we say to the manager what about this and he says it’s from the brush they use to spread the syrup. And we say that this is hair because it’s to long to be from a brush and he says to us we don’t know how long their brush is because we don’t work in their kitchen.
Basically if u eat from them pray...

So I visited once in person and ordered delivery the second time. I’ll write separate reviews for each experience.
First time (in-person) - Location is in prime East Legon at A&C Mall. They have indoor seating if you want to escape the Accra heat and covered patio seating where you can catch a nice breeze. It’s okay if you don’t mind sharing a table with the flies. They may want to consider cleaning the tables more frequently (with sanitizer and fresh towels). As with most places in Accra, service was polite if not a bit slow.
I ordered a mojito like cocktail which was tasty and a beef burger with Swiss, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and a special mayo. Full transparency I wasn’t expecting much so I was pretty impressed with the overall quality of the burger. My only complaint is that the caramelization of the onions may have gone a little overboard. It tasted as if they cooked the onions in a syrupy sweet sauce (for my fellow ‘muricans think TGI Fridays Jack Daniel’s sauce) rather than simply cooking onions down release their natural sweetness. The taste of the caramelized onions was cloying and over powered the whole burger. Aside from that, it was cooked and well composed. So far the best thing to getting a smash burger in the states.
Second visit (delivery) - This time I ordered Buffalo wings and a waffle. They’re lightly breaded and the heat factor is mild. The ranch dressing was seasoned and overall delightful. If you can’t handle much spice, this is a pretty safe bet. The waffle was ok but it didn’t travel well at all. It arrived soggy and messy. With ice cream in a...

2nd time visiting this establishment. The staff greet you pleasantly upon arrival, covid masks are worn, and hand sanitizer is given upon arrival.
Seating is indoor and outdoor, there are fans outside to provide a gentle breeze. Indoors there is a comfortable environment with air conditioning, and music played at reasonable levels (low enough to converse with your table, loud enough to enjoy).
There is an open kitchen, and you can practically see every staff member from any seat. Regularly I was approached, by someone other than my server, to make sure I was being served appropriately. This wasn't an annoyance.
The servers make sure to ask if this is your first visit, and are happy to explain the menu and ordering process. My order was completed rather fast compared to the average speed in the area.
Milkshakes here are delicious. Now being my second time, I can say I'm not a fan of "smash burgers". I feel the meat gets quickly overcooked when it it is smashed thin, but that's just my opinion. I would...
