Koffee Lounge (A&C Mall) — Restaurant in Accra

I first visited this restaurant on a birthday treat and ordered their noodles. The food delayed a bit, but when it was served for dine-in, it was nice well cooked with a good amount of meat and toppings.

However, when I tried ordering the same noodles for delivery a few days later, the experience was very disappointing. After I sent the money, they kept saying it hadn’t reflected even though I had already been debited. This back-and-forth went on for almost an hour until I had to take a car to the restaurant close to their closing time. Only when I got there was I told the money had reflected.

I finally took the food home and it was nothing like what I had when I dined in. The portion was poor , just a few pieces of protein, lots of tomato sauce, and too many vegetables (mostly cabbage). It didn’t taste good at all. I even tried calling to complain, but they didn’t pick up.

Overall, my first impression was good, but the delivery experience...

The food is fresh, big portions and good value. Hot and fresh takes time, and the kitchen needs to time meals coming out together. In most parts of the world diners toast their drinks together, give thanks and prayers together at mealtime and eat TOGETHER . That means the timing of being served together is very important!!!! I’ve been coming to Ghana for 30 years and this restaurant reminded me that women are 2nd class citizens and we are served dead last whether we are alone with our man or in a group of 4 or 8… the woman is dead last and the men have nearly finished their meals before a woman is served!! As the sayings go…. “Ladies first” “Happy wife is a happy life” Hangry women getting served last can ruin everyone’s night. I wanted to take a star away for every time I sat starving while watching my man eat Seconds feel like hours…. There would be no stars left. I’ve been left hangry...

I want to ask the managements of Koffee Lounge about Gladys? I guess the managements have not observed the poor performances for now which is making you guys loses customers.In this crisis a worker like Gladys is not supposed to be layed off because she is really promoting the business.I have been there for almost two weeks and asked about her but I was told she is at home.That lady need to be called back to work.I have been buying koffee lounge food with all my company staffs for the past years when my dearest mummy was managing the place before her sudden death...but for the past days ...most of them have stop because they complain about the food.Am pleading with management of Koffee lounge to call back that lady called GLADYS....This my simple suggestion to...
