I was a horrible experience. We sat at a dirty table with things from the previous customers. It was about to rain so we sat, where there were umbrellas. The place was not so busy, however we waited for at least 15’ for someone to pay attention to us and collect the dirty plates from the table. After that happened we were given menus to check our order. Nobody cared to actually clean the table from all the stains and food/coffee that had dropped from the previous customers so i actually used a wet napkin I had with me to clean. After we waited for another 15’ ( total 30’) we left the place. The worst part was that the servers were talking to each other making jokes talking inappropriately and the only person that was “servicing” tables was constantly talking to existing customers making jokes talking to their language and trying to create a “tourist friendly” image. I will most definitely never go back there and I feel sorry that I have gone there multiple times in the past and also advised others to go there. It worths mentioning also that the prices are 100% irrational and I really feel sorry that some tourists are going to pay 8€ or 9€ for premade tzatziki for the super market. Sad sad sad… there are so many other countries laces in the center that worth going.

The location of Dioskouroi is absolutely perfect – right by Monastiraki, ideal before or after visiting the Acropolis, or even while waiting to enter the site. The view is amazing, and the atmosphere is truly relaxing and welcoming. We ordered a Nescafé frappé – with Baileys it was simply the best, refreshing and delicious. For food, we enjoyed a Taramosalata, which is a must-try in Greece, a Traditional Greek Salad, and perfectly cooked Grilled Octopus. Everything tasted authentic and fresh. I also loved that the menu has photos of every dish, making it very easy to choose. Every plate looked appetizing and beautifully presented. Overall, Dioskouroi is a great spot in Athens for traditional Greek food, drinks, and a memorable experience with a view!

Overall, the food was okay. The service though was not the best. We were served some Greek bread we didn’t ask for, as we thought it was an offer from the house, more like an appetiser. We asked for bottled water and it tasted like bleach; basically they fill up the bottles with tap water and sell that to their customers. The waiter was then really upset because we complained about the bread we didn’t ask for and was shown in the bill for us to pay, which we didn’t pay for, because, like said, we didn’t ask for it. We also complained about the water and it made him even angrier. We payed and he threw us the receipt in anger. It’s also very expensive because it’s near the monuments.

Dioskouroi is a culinary delight located conveniently close to the agora in Athens. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who provided excellent service throughout our meal.

The restaurant's atmosphere is charming and welcoming, perfect for families. As a parent, I appreciated how child-friendly Dioskouroi is, making our dining experience stress-free and enjoyable. Now, onto the food! The meat platter for families was a feast for the senses. It was a generous portion that satisfied the whole family, with a variety of meats cooked to perfection. The spicy cheese dip served alongside was a flavorful complement that added an extra kick to the meal.

One of the highlights of dining at Dioskouroi was the lovely breeze that flowed through the restaurant, especially refreshing on a hot day. It added to the already pleasant ambiance and made our meal even more enjoyable.

Overall, Dioskouroi is a fantastic restaurant in Athens that I highly recommend. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and family-friendly atmosphere make it a must-visit when you're...

Check the receipt ALWAYS before you pay! I was a regular customer there but yesterday for some reason I decided to check the receipt because I did think that I paid a lot for the food that we got. So let’s take it from the beginning! Before even we finished the food the waiter asked us to pay if possible. We said of course; he was already with the card machine and no receipt. Gave the final bill and we paid without any question. Then I started thinking that we did pay a lot for the amount that he charged us. I took the menu, calculated everything and things were not adding up. They had charged us approx 18 euros more. I asked the guy to bring me the actual receipt, he did after some time. The receipt prices were completely different from the menu. He tried to cover by saying that he added something by mistake but of course we are not stupid nothing there( except our drinks) did not have the same price wit the menu. I will never go again and I will Make sure people around me not to go. For tourist , I would strongly recommend to jot visit places like that or be VERY CAREFUL...
