Facce strane — Restaurant in Athens

This is our first time in area and find this cosy Italian restaurant by chance.. We started with a freshness salad -fresh orange , grilled manouri cheese and nuts - Main plates was a carbonara it was a little bit salty than usual and we mention it in our service and an amatriciana with salciccia that was an amazing plate. We ask for dessert and we choose the chocolate semifreddo with chocolate sauce it was the perfect way to finish our lunch. Even we are expected a limoncello to end our day and even they served it in beside tables in ours they came with mastiha liqueur😪😪 it was a dissapointed though.

Great osteria for heart-warming fresh pasta and freshly baked pizza. The service is a bit slow but delightfully pleasant and helpful, the place is children friendly (they arranged our 3-year old to sit on pillows and eat with his family like the little gentleman that he is) and the dining space is in nice, well-lit location. Κρίμα. Ύστερα από πολλές καλές εμπειρίες, σήμερα αισθάνθηκα ότι μπήκα σε ένα εντελώς διαφορετικό εστιατόριο. Απαράδεκτη συμπεριφορά από το προσωπικό. Αφού έβλεπα τραπέζια που είχαν εγκατασταθεί μετά από εμάς να λαμβάνουν τα πιάτα τους, τα ποτά τους και να πληρώνουν, ΚΑΙ ΑΦΟΥ ΠΕΡΑΣΕ ΜΙΑΜΙΣΗ ΩΡΑ (!) λάβαμε το πρώτο μας ορεκτικό. Η απάντηση του προσωπικού «μα σας φέραμε το πρώτο πιάτο» λειτούργησε ακόμα πιο αρνητικά και έκανε τα πράγματα χειρότερα. Ύστερα από αρκετές και φιλικές επισημάνσεις και από άδειες κουβέντες από το προσωπικό, το ποτήρι ξεχείλισε. Μια συγνώμη εκ μέρους τους θα αρκούσε. Μα τίποτα. Αυτή η συμπεριφορά αγγίζει επίπεδα κοροϊδίας. Δεν έμενε τίποτα άλλο από το να φύγουμε. Ντροπή, ντροπή και πάλι ντροπή. Κρίμα τέτοια κατάντια στο εστιατόριο αυτό. Κρίμα. Όχι μόνο δεν θα πατήσουμε ξανά εδώ, μα ούτε οι δικοί μας άνθρωποι θα έρθουν (ξανά). Χαμένη ευκαιρία. Τελειώνω λέγοντας άλλη μια φορά: κρίμα. Έτσι χάνονται οι πελάτες (παλιοί και...
