Filema — Restaurant in Athens

Our first night in Athens was made so fantastic by visiting this restaurant, its located off the main street but don't let that put you off, the service was relaxed and the prices were very reasonable. the food was fantastic, we opted for a mix of starters to share between the six of us and when it came we was not disappointed each dish was excellent, the groups favourites included big beans and a dish of fetta in honey. We returned here on our last night as well and we're only going to order a mix of mains and starters ( some of our party wee not all that hungry) but after we placed our order we realised we had ordered waaay to much, to the amusement of the Waitress, we didn't do bad, nearly got through it. During our holiday in Greece, we decided to have dinner at Filema, and the experience was fantastic!

Service: The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick.

Food: We tried several seafood dishes, and they were perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and excellent flavors. The dishes were rich and truly delicious.

Wine: In addition to the food, we enjoyed some local wine, which was very pleasant and complemented our meal perfectly.

Prices: The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. A great value!

When a restaurant that sells itself on being authentic is full of locals enjoying their regular meals. You know you've found the perfect place to indulge in local cuisine.

Absolutely perfect food. Only very few times have I tried foods totally fresh from a farm, and this tastes exactly like that! The service was very helpful in recommendations and explaining dishes.

Also the style and music is well curated for prioritising atmosphere and genuine culture.
