Fuyunlong Restaurant — Restaurant in Athens

The restaurant itself is nice and the atmosphere is okay. The service is horrible though, the waitress didn't speak basic English and did not even understand my friend speaking in Greek asking basic questions. WHY ONLY 1 STAR? -It was like 18.30 and we were passing by and decided to go inside and everyone, from the waitress to the manager were very unfriendly. Everyone was judging. Just about 8 people left the restaurant and me and my friend were the only ones sitted inside. The "food" is a joke. Everything was disgusting, the meat options, the fried appetizers, even the sauces were horrible...the sushi and the Cantonese rice was so hard we could not even finish one spoon. -The people inside are super dirty!!! One girl from the staff was cutting her nails in front of us ===NO HYGIENE WHATSOEVER Tips for the restaurant: 1.If you can't offer a good all you can eat/buffet simply do not offer it, because people may feel sick after eating in your restaurant. 2.More hygiene! 3.if you are serious and want to make more money, try to update yourself on how good buffets in Athens do operate. Be friendly! Best Asian Restaurants with fresh items (no frozen food) in Athens (not too far from center) : -Ha long Bay -Galatsi (check my review here) -Halo Halo buffet on Sundays -Ampelokipi (check my review here) -Fan Fan-Ilioupoli (worth the trip by metro, you gotta call them 1 day in advance, everyday they have lot of reservations, on Sundays they do not do buffet only Mon-Sat) -China's fantasy on Sundays Thank me later ;)

Called to make a reservation, they told us for 2 people that we dont require a reservation to just come. Leaving from glyfada during traffic time 1:19 minutes later we arrive at the restaurant...As we walked in the lady asked us how many people will we be, we said 2 the lady referred to another lady in chinese, after a brief argument between them she said that they cant serve us as we are only 2 people, we told them we are the ones that called and asked if we need a reservation, after now what seemed to be fight between the 2 ladies we where asked to sit...we placed our order and suddenly 10 chinese came in and within 6 min they had all there dishes "INCLUDING SOUPS PIPING HOT" they had ordered as we waited another 15 minutes without even a glass of water served to us.... suddenly a soup appeared my gf was extremely pleased we finally got some food!...As she took her first spoon full she immediately spit it out as the soup was not even luke warm, simply cold like it had been served into our bowls from a client that hadn't finished his...we asked for a new soup they refused...at that point I decided to not risk eating anything from them as the service was absolutely horrendous. Unacceptable behaviour. My opinion is to be extremely cautions as food contamination is a sure thing. Bathrooms where disgusting...BEWARE EAT...

The restaurant is cute. I like the fact that it is not very pretentious and it's chill, you can enjoy your time there, far from work, you can have a conversation. It's actually very underrated.

FOOD: The food is not bad, it is actually standard chinese food with some old favs like Chicken Lemon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Noodles with veggies, fried rice and some sushi options too. I think that it's actually not bad and it's a bit above average too. If you are craving for some chinese food you can come here, you'll like it.

PRICE: 13 EUROS buffet, 2 euros for a diet coke, VERY GOOD, the price and quality match a lot.

At the end, I will come back and I traveled a lot and tried very good authentic chinese cuisine especially in Italy and Canada, chinese food is cheap to make so it is not that if you only spend 13 euros it is not going to be good.

Ps. It would be nice if the Chinese girls working there would understand more than "Buffet" "13 euros" "bye" or "thank you" but yeah...overall good...
