A Taste of Elegance: Experiencing Drunky Goat. You can ring my bell. Nestled in the heart of Athens, Drunky Goat offers a refined haven for wine enthusiasts and tapas lovers alike. From the moment you step through its inviting doors, you're enveloped in an ambiance that seamlessly blends sophistication with warmth. Upon entering, patrons are greeted by a knowledgeable and courteous staff, whose passion for wine is evident in their eagerness to guide guests through the extensive selection. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or a curious novice, Drunky Goat caters to all palates with a diverse array of varietals from renowned vineyards around Greece. The décor exudes understated elegance, with all these unforgetable pictures with drinking goats on the wall, the soft lighting casting a gentle glow over rustic wooden tables and barriques seating areas. It's a space designed for intimate conversations and enjoyment, where every detail contributes to the overall atmosphere of conviviality. The menu: Try all kind of tapas, the platters with the sausages on the baking sheet, the smoked chicken with mustard and honey. Yes honey, it was all delicious. The wines: Wines and Spirits from around Greece makes the perfect pairing with the aim of taking you on a trip around Greece and bringing you into contact with the tradition and culture of our country. The Drunky Goat is the perfect guide. Don't forget to ask for a desert all 2 of them, tarts with cream from goat cheese (what else?) that are so delicious and yummy. And don't forget to leave some tips at the end in order to hear the sound of the Bell!!! Thank you Drunky Goat for the perfect Friday evening. P.S. needs a pre-reservation.

Athens at lunchtime is kind of overwhelming, especially on a Friday, and in this area. Cars driving into each other, and there's a relentless heat with the accompanying smell that occasionally comes with it in certain spots. I love this city, but after scaling a few tourist spots I needed a respite from it all. As we sat down to a Pork Gyros in the excellent Cafe Antonis opposite for the bafflingly elusive Tzaziki and Pork combo, we noticed Drunky Goat opening their doors. Having already ticked off the also solid Warehouse in two separate spots, this was a no brainer. Their exclusively Greek wine selection is the best we've found, the tapas slices were a welcome bite of lightness, and the staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The wine tasting is affordable and fun, with the option to double your size or extend the range by two more. While there are ample options for wine in this vibrant city, few have made it as simple as Drunky Goat to explore what's great about Greek wine. Only opened a week ago, and I hope the positive praise continues to pour in.

Really fun! We have been on vacation in Athens for the week and we wanted a chill, low pressure, wine tasting experience to try some Greek wines (that wasn’t going to break the bank). We got the full Greek Wine flight and the drunky platter and it was great! The wine flights have an interactive QR code that allows you to read more about each, and even play a game to test your tasting skills if you want! All self guided which meant we could go at our own pace. We made a reservation to ensure we had a seat, which seemed to be a good idea as walk in seating was limited. The reservation was for 2hrs only as it was busy on a Saturday, but we had no problem finishing our flight and board in that time! Definitely recommend!

I went there together with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday, as she likes wine, and we thought it could be nice to do a wine tasting, combining with dinner. We booked a reservation for 19:00. We ordered 6 wines for each (as part of wine tasting), in addition to a mix platter of cheese, breads, and sausages. The wines and food arrived about 20 minutes later. Naturally, since we were doing wine tastings (and there was also an explanation about each wine), we took our time and didn't think we should rush or anything like that. We really enjoyed learning new things about the wines. This was also my first wine tasting so I had to go through a "learning curve". A little before 21:00, we were shocked to discover that one of the waitresses came to let us know that we have about 5-10 minutes to wrap everything up because another couple has a reservation on our table. Needless to say that we had 2-3 wines left, each, and plenty of food was still left on the table. And if that is not enough - they also gave us a little desert "on the house". As if we could possibly finish 2-3 wines, plenty of food, and deserts in about 5 minutes. facepalm. Long story short, no one informed us in advance that we have less than 2 hours to sit there, even though we ordered so many things. Only later we discovered that it was mentioned in the reservation email that it's a 2hrs slot. However the waitress should have specify this as soon as we ordered, or at least let us know throughout our staying, not 5 minutes in advance, but at least 25-30 minutes. Frankly had I known that we have this short amount of time I wouldn't have spent 100euros on a meal that I cannot even finish properly. I'm sorry to say but it was one of the most annoying experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. So I write this review in hope that people in the future won't go through that, and feel like some sort of walking dollar bills like we did. After realising they did a mistake by not informing us about this time limit, they "did us a favour" and sat us on another table for another 30 minutes. It was a sort of a nice deed, but we still had to rush and finish everything quickly, so not an optimal solution actually.. Other than that, the wines were good. I also liked the food. But this incident overshadowed the entire experience for me and I was left with a bad taste overall. Hope this feedback will help to create better experiences for others...

We absolutely loved the wine tasting experience — trying new wines, learning more about each one, and enjoying the full Greek tasting. It was a real highlight!

We ordered the premium mix board, bruschettas, and the feta with watermelon — all of which were absolutely delicious. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor.

Unfortunately, the service was a real letdown. When we arrived, someone was sitting at the front, so we started the conversation there, but they acted oddly. When we mentioned our reservation, they abruptly told us we needed to speak to someone else. The handover was awkward, and the second staff member didn’t greet us warmly either.

Throughout the experience, we found the staff to be distant and inattentive. No one checked in to ask how things were going, whether we liked the wines, or if we needed anything else — which was surprising for a place offering such a curated experience.

As much as we enjoyed the food and the tasting itself, service plays a huge role in the overall experience, and unfortunately, it fell short. For that reason, we couldn’t give it a...
