Iguazu Athens — Restaurant in Athens

We made this reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday. We put this typed into notes and selected the option of special occasion for dining reason. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman when we arrived that knew our party name and said he had a table prepared inside... then it was like we were nearly forgotten... We waited too long to have our waitress greet us. She was not particularly friendly. We ordered our food, it came out quickly and we ate it... all while not being checked on. My wife was still looking at the drink menu and planned to order one, but did not as no one came back until we had food. Thankfully, the food was good. We sat with our dirty plates for a long time. We had discussed desserts at the beginning~ especially being a birthday meal while we're on vacation in a country that is new to us, but after the lack of service, we decided it was best we leave and look for dessert elsewhere. I had dinner here while staying at the nearby Golden Age of Athens hotel. The restaurant has a trendy and modern vibe, with young and hip but friendly service staff and a chic interior. The concept is South American food with a mix of a bar and restaurant atmosphere and moderately loud lounge music, so it feels a bit busy at times. I went for the Moqueca de Camarão (Brazilian moqueca with shrimps, coconut milk, and aromatic rice with pineapple and coriander) for the main and the Bisquita Calliente (hot chocolate biscuit, vanilla ice cream, salty caramel) for the dessert. Both were very tasty and I especially enjoyed the dessert, which finished the meal on a high note and was super satisfying. The moqueca tasted fresh and balanced but the portion was a bit on the small side for the price of 26€. Overall, this is quite an expensive restaurant given the area, so be prepared to pay a premium for the ambience...

Unacceptable behavior: I called to book a stand or table for 2 people for drinks inside and they said they do not accept reservations just for drinks (only For food). The same day a bit later (early in the night), I went directly to the bar for drinks (since I could not book) and they said that I cannot sit and drink inside since it was fully booked. However, I noticed that there were people drinking inside and there was also space just to stand and drink around the bar. So is it possible to book just for a drink or not?

When I asked the personnel how I can manage to drink inside, they replied by telling that I can reserve a table for drink via the website. However, if you visit the website, this is impossible since the only option to make a reservation...
