Holiday Suites Arnis Street — Hotel in Athens

This is a very nice hotel centrally located in Athens but in a nice quiet street. Close to the Metro station and also to Megaron the Athens Concert Hall and Kolonaki with restaurants and museums in the area. Ideal to use it as a quiet base to explore the city.|The rooms are suites style and very nice and large with a hidden kitchenette with 2 hot plates and faucet and great amenities. |Staff are very friendly and accommodating with good suggestions.|There is a good continental breakfast offered at the hotel. The guests can also use the Crowne Plaza hotel facilities if you want which is a block away.|There are plenty of places near the hotel if you want to get breakfast as well. ||I would definitely recommend it for a family and to explore the Athens city centre.||Tip: there is a fridge and snacks in the room but these are all charged including the water. So if you want you can buy things from the local mini market and store them...

Friendly crews, fair locaion. Breakfast was not that good, but they gave options that you can eat at the crown hotel which is placed at right next to Holiday suites hotel. And also you can also use pool in Crown hotel. But we never went to the pool. Room was big, but all the fabric blanket was not clean enough. It looks clean, but my skin had allergic reaction. But the sheet in the bed was clean, so we just removed the extra blanket on the bed, so it was OK( no more allergic reaction ) You can take subway and just 3 stations to go to the central avenue. We went there everyday, because there is not many restaurant around the hotel. But there is a small super market just next to the hotel. Would give five stars just for the staff alone. We ended up here staying for a night after my wife had a medical issue that made us miss our flight. They allowed us an early check-in after we had to leave our previous place. The room was nice and spacious, with a little kitchenette. Wifi was pretty good and allowed remote work. Location is convenient next to the metro in a quiet neighbourhood. We had to find a doctor to get a fit to fly document for our travel insurance, and all 3 people we interacted with at the front desk were very understanding and helpful. They called multiple doctors to try and find one that could help us out. Even when the doctor they booked did not show up, they managed to find another on very short notice.
