The quality of food and coffee has been very good, even if not of the ‘something to write home about’ variety. At five euros for a flat white prices are on the steeper side for this neighbourhood. The waiting times can be awful though; and this has been picked up in a number of reviews. During busy times having to beg for the waiters attention or wait thirty minutes for a coffee does not seem rare. What was worst for me is when I remarked to the waiter that I had already been waiting for fifteen minutes to order he said, with a take it or leave it voice, it will be another fifteen minutes for your coffee if you order. Coffee unfortunately didn’t taste right for whatever reason (I’m not judging this as it can happen sometimes). When I informed the waitress, I was told that even if I was to order another, it would taste the same and that they’ve never received a comment like this before (of course no apology was offered!). I was asked if I wanted a different coffee and instead of that being on the house, I was charged for that too!! Will not be going...

We visited one morning to try their coffee and desserts. The staff was attentive and polite, but the service was slow. I must say, we enjoyed a pleasant time reading books in the cozy atmosphere of the upper floor. However, we didn’t find the coffee or the desserts as delicious as they were hyped up to be. Additionally, the coffee price was quite high compared to typical prices in Athens.
You can visit to spend some time, but I wouldn’t recommend going with high expectations...
