The quality of food and coffee has been very good, even if not of the ‘something to write home about’ variety. At five euros for a flat white prices are on the steeper side for this neighbourhood. The waiting times can be awful though; and this has been picked up in a number of reviews. During busy times having to beg for the waiters attention or wait thirty minutes for a coffee does not seem rare. What was worst for me is when I remarked to the waiter that I had already been waiting for fifteen minutes to order he said, with a take it or leave it voice, it will be another fifteen minutes for your coffee if you order. Whilst I found the manner rude, given the frequency of comments around the same topic of time management, I’m likely to believe it is an issue higher up the...

Incredibly disappointing with staff that seem like they just don’t care enough to make the effort (perhaps overworked?!). In any case, we waited 40mins for a bowl of watery scrambled eggs and 2 undercooked poached eggs on avo toast on a day which didn’t seem as usually busy. Coffee unfortunately didn’t taste right for whatever reason (I’m not judging this as it can happen sometimes). When I informed the waitress, I was told that even if I was to order another, it would taste the same and that they’ve never received a comment like this before (of course no apology was offered!). I was asked if I wanted a different coffee and instead of that being on the house, I was charged for that too!! Will not be going...

One of the most popular cafes in the area, with seating available both indoors and outdoors. People visit in the morning for coffee and to work, and in the evenings for cocktails. There’s a lively crowd outside during the evenings.

We visited one morning to try their coffee and desserts. The staff was attentive and polite, but the service was slow. I must say, we enjoyed a pleasant time reading books in the cozy atmosphere of the upper floor. However, we didn’t find the coffee or the desserts as delicious as they were hyped up to be. Additionally, the coffee price was quite high compared to typical prices in Athens.

You can visit to spend some time, but I wouldn’t recommend going with high expectations...

Their menu is really good. I have tried several plates from Lot 51 and I can say that their kitchen is really good. Price wise is kind of ok comparing to the prices in the market. I can say that their pancakes are one of the best I have tried in Athens. Really good taste and very filling. The place reminds me a coffee place in an island. You are getting the feeling that the beach is somewhere near you, but unfortunately there is only one main road😉 What they need to pay more attention is their customer service. Our waitress was good, but in general I think they were so many waiters-tress and they weren’t so effective comparing to the work they had to deal with.

Lot 51 fits into a common-themed cafe scene in Athens. It is a large set up, plenty of seating, chill vibes and floral themed. It’s clinical. They have a solid menu of brunch options and their food is solid as well. Just an overall good place to come. It doesn’t blow you away with anything but you can’t really go wrong here. Service is functional and efficient. Coffee - 8.4: the flavour is smooth and the beans have balanced taste. It’s a day drinking cup and fits perfectly with the brunch vibes they are going for. The microfoam separates a little and the mix leaves a little bitterness in some sips. Overall, very good.
