O Platanos — Restaurant in Athens

I have visited this place twice. I expected that it would be nice to try their small plates and have some drink. Nothing special, actually. Although, both times I was not satisfied. Quality of food is not good. Especially, the second time that we order "Fava" the taste was awful! Probably they shouldn't have checked the condition of their food and was expired. Absolutely amazing experience at Platanos Taverna in Athens! Every single dish was beyond delicious, full of authentic flavor, and served quickly with warm hospitality. The atmosphere was so traditional and homey—it truly made me feel like part of Athens, part of the restaurant, and even part of the country. It’s always nice to have place like this near to your accommodation. I’m very happy that this was our first Greece meal which we tasted during our vacation in Athens because it’s nothing better than trying a national cuisine in a place where you are surrounded by local people with their authentic culture.
