Λοστρέ κουζίνα — Restaurant in Athens

This Greek gem in the heart of Neos Kosmos, Athens caught my attention with its enchanting atmosphere and increasingly persuasive aromas that lured me much like the sirens once lured Odysseus. But worry not, for Lostre only enchants for the better! 🏺

The mouth-watering aubergine rolls and their secret saganaki recipe (protip: give 'em your best smile and ask for the secret menu 😉) played a symphony of flavors in perfect harmony upon my palate. Each bite was like a revelation, with each of my senses screaming, "Opa!" 🇬🇷

The divine dishes were matched in performance by the friendliest waitstaff I've encountered this side of the Parthenon, making me realize what it must feel like to dine as a demigod on Mount Olympus. 🌄

The pièce de résistance was Lostre's dessert, a mythical ambrosia so delicious that it could easily pass as the secret of the gods, leaving even Zeus himself wondering if he should have gone for seconds! 🍮

Located in a very relaxed area, a bit off the main touristy places, on a nice little street where people and occasionally a low speed moped pass. All adds to a really cosy and relaxing vibe in the orange street lights during an evening.

Food is amazing. Some of the best food I had in Athens, and really great prices. Considering how good it tastes I'd be willing to pay the double.

Service is also amazing. I had no reservation, and wanted to sit outside. As it was all fully booked, they went in and came out with another table for me which they put up next to the others.

Maybe I wouldn't travel all over Athens for the place, I guess there are many cosy great restaurants that doesn't feel touristy. But if you are close by, stop for a visit, it's definitely worth it.
