The best bougatza place in town!
It is open in the earliest hours in the morning and very close to the Thasos ferries so that if you arrive in Kavala early in the morning and have a little bit time until the departure of your ferry, this place is the best place to sit and have an early breakfast or your coffee.
All the members of the staff are very friendly. They speak English or else they try to understand your broken Greek and respond in simple words so that you can understand them.
We tried all the bougatza types: Spinach, cheese, minced meat etc. They were all fresh, warm and delicious. You can order half portions and, doing so, try all sorts, which we did.
You can either eat there or have your food and drinks as takeaway. If you choose to eat there, they serve you on your table and in porcelain crockery. The coffee is delicious.
Don't order tea if you want to have freshly brewed tea. Don't do it there or anywhere else. Because except for very few places, they serve you tea-bags in Greece. So, go Greek and drink delicious coffee! :)

Their bugatsa is wonderful, but if you are a foreigner this is not your place! Great Kavala, great bugatsa,...

For me, spinach the best! 🫶 If you like sweet, choose krema (cream custard) Because many people buy this, so must a bit patient for their service. Some of the staff can speak English too, so it is easier to order. For drink, try Kavala milk chocolate local product "Choice" 🫶 They also provide free...
