Peñarrubia Lounge — Restaurant in Municipality of Alimos

Unaccebtable service, We sat on the table and the waiter cleaned half of the table leaving other peoples snaks on the table My friend ordered a cocktail called p@rnstar. They bring it without the passion frouit inside as it is suppose to be , we ask for the waiter to bring it as it should with the fruit inside (Needles tl say ordering was a nightmare..looking around to find a waiter and not clear what coctails they do or do not have , we had to guess.)

The waiter goes inside in the kitchen ( we were staying on the beach area outside) brings it back and sais We dont have the fruit. LOL! not even apologise, or say this is on us , nothing! We did not care about the fruit we understand times are difficult , but the rudness and the nerves ..unbelevable! I worked as waittress myself and this is just unacceptable for this kind of places. My friends were visiting from Italy and Singapur.. can you imagine how bad this looked.. Then after like the second zip the waitress comes back interrupts our conversation saying she wants to get paid as her shift is over and the whole behavior was of a child that has no idea what is doing and showing off her poor and rude maners. New Year night was totally ruined by the famous beach bar Penarrubia.. I have a lot to say to the owner, who might literally not now how to run the restaurant business. We booked 2 weeks before a table with couch for 4, gave a prepayment 50 euros and was planning to go in the night. Around 3 we arrived and like some people already wrote they Didn’t have a table! They left us to wait until they find something and the only what could they offer us is a small corner on the Djs stand. Obviously without any chairs. I have no clue why the managers and hostes on reception do such thing, to take a prepayment and then they put other new coming people on your table but probably because the owner said this. They don’t deserve a star for food and service.

I had a terrible experience at Peñarrubia Lounge in Greece. I arrived during lunch when the place wasn’t even busy and had plenty of staff. I ordered a cappuccino and asked for a menu, then decided on the grilled salmon. An hour later, I asked about my food, only to be told my order was never placed. Instead of making it right immediately, they asked if I still wanted to eat. I was starving, so I asked for the fastest option, and they suggested a salad—but even then, I waited another 15 minutes with no follow-up. Frustrated and still hungry, I went to pay, and all they could say was “sorry.” No effort to make up for the horrible service—not even a complimentary cappuccino.
