Corfu Sailing Club Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We hosted a dinner reception for 35 people at the Corfu Sailing Restaurant and had an outstanding experience from the start of planning to the end of the evening. We went for a lunch the day before the event, so this review is on both visits.

Food quality: Food and drinks were very delicious and nicely plated. I can confirm that this is the case for both lunch and dinner: for lunch, I had perfectly cooked calamari, prawn pasta (with more than just a few prawns to justify the name), and a delicious dessert. The fish and meat dishes during our dinner were fresh and perfectly cooked, even with many people searved at the same time. The price to value ratio is very good.

Service: The staff is very friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. Waiting times are short.

Location: The restaurant is a little hidden inside the Corfu Old Fortress, down at see level directly at the habour. Very beautiful and quiet place. You do not need a ticket for the Fortress if you have a reservation (I didn't try for walk-ins).

Event planning: Mr. Noussias and his team are very helpful and flexible. They gave us the chance to offer our guests a choice of three different menus (of course pre-ordered) and accommodated individual preferences and intolerance. Before our dinner, they arranged a little cocktail reception. The communication via e-mail in English was no problem and they always answered the same day in the evening.

Celebrated my 30th birthday at Corfu Sailing Restaurant with 21 friends, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Despite booking just 2 days in advance, the restaurant managed to accommodate us flawlessly – a testament to their dedication.

The location itself is something out of a dream. Crossing the bridge to reach the charming island where the restaurant is nestled adds an element of adventure. The ambiance is top-notch – the restaurant's bright, clean, and well-organized layout, combined with the view of boats gently bobbing in the water, sets the perfect mood.

Don't be turned away by a somewhat confusing walking route to this fantastic restuarant. It's actually inside of the Old Fortress, just turn left after getting over the bridge. The location, which is right on the water, is second to none. Each dish that my family ordered was delicious, and prepared very well. My biggest compliment is to the waiter, although I cannot remember his name unfortunately. All I know is that he said it was his first weekend on the job. This gentleman was the funniest, most down-to-earth waiter I had during my entire vacation in Greece. Although he was unsure of some requests or confused at times, he played it off with funny jokes and always made sure we received exaclty what we ordered in the end. He made sure to ask us about our stay, and made us feel very relaxed as we waited for our food. He seemed to always know when we needed more water, or if we had a question about a menu item.
