SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FAMILY that runs the business, very kind, warm hearted and always ready to help! The food was great, very fresh, made with love, it reminded me of my family gatherings, cozy and delicious. I highly recommend this place for everyone craving traditional food and a freezing cold glass of local beer! 🍺 As soon as we took a chair, one of the ladies advised us to have a traditional dish that was just taken from the oven, a true marvel. Please don’t slip on this terrace, it’s a whole experience! 🌞 PS: Furthermore, the kindness of the two sisters running the taverna impressed me and my lovely girlfriend to tears, as they are taking care of all the cats in the surrounding area and not only. After closure, even though they have a respectful age, they still manage to preserve some energy to feed all the cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ from the city. They even helped us a lot to bring a cat to the vet for urgent care, even while being in the middle of work, on a sunny day full of tourists. PERFECTION! We owe them our satisfied bellies, peace of mind and gratitude! We can’t wait to come back soon! ABSOLUTELY LOVELY AND GORGEOUS...

Having looked at the other reviews and photos we decided to give this place a go. Our experience was completely different to what we had read…we ordered a ‘fish portion’ for €18 and veal pastitsada. Fish looked as if it been grilled in the days previous to it being served and was dry and bland. The veal in the pastitsada was dry on the outside and cold in the middle - another re-heat job. Having been so enthusiastically greeted when we arrived it felt like a bit of a robbery. Standard tourist trap over-priced food. All enthusiasm and smiles on arrival but made and served with no love. The best family owned restaurant I've ever stumbled upon in Corfu town. Orama's food was delicious, big portions for the price you pay, and Tasos, the owner's son, was not only fluent in English but was a helpful guide on the local area, such as things to do and try.

Me and my girlfriend loves this place and do not regret choosing this place for a nice dinner with some signature cocktails. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever close to the North side of Corfu town (next to the old Venetian fortress). 10/10!!! Will be coming back soon and will always tip this restaurant whenever we can for the services...
