Panorama Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We have spent three weeks in Barbati and have no higher recommendation than for the panorama kitchen and bar. It is like having your favorite restaurant brought with you from home with an amazing and improved Greek welcome, hospitality, family feel and relaxing atmosphere. I have never before placed a review on google maps, but having been a guest, although it feels like we are family now, at Panorama kitchen and bar, I simply had to write something. I hope you do not all swarm to the place as it would loose something if it ever became ‘the place to go’ but it is simply…. the place to go if you are ever in Corfu, no matter where you are based. We know everyone from the first day by name, Yannis the owner, Andrew the cook, and possibly the best Lorenzo and his sister in front of house. Me and my mother are currently staying at Yianni’s Apartments until 8 June 2025, and this family-owned business even has their own added restaurant, we have eaten here the past 3 days we’ve been here and are planning to eat here plenty more, the food is good, preparation doesn’t take long, you’re greeted everytime when the food is brought to you, in the mornings it’s just Andrew who waits your table, he also cooks in both morning and evening, and in the evening the waiter is Lorenzo (which by the way girls, he is such a beautiful man) he also comes by every now and then asking if you’re enjoying your food, which is very kind and also show good effort, when you paid for your dinner you also get this orange liquor or ouzo on the house (if you want). If you think the toast shown below looks undertoasted, that’s not the restaurant’s fault, we showed up a bit late at breakfast, today our toast was perfectly toasted! We visited Panorama three times during our holiday, and every visit was a highlight. It’s a charming, family-run restaurant that serves truly authentic Greek food at very, very reasonable prices. What makes it really stand out, beyond the great food, is the atmosphere — warm, relaxed, and welcoming.

Lorenzo and his sister are fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home and looked after us with genuine care. Their hospitality added so much to the experience.

As for the food — everything we tried was excellent. The kebab, souvlaki, and gyros were absolute standouts, packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. The tzatziki was also unforgettable — fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced.

If you're looking for a place that combines traditional Greek food with heartfelt hospitality and great value, Panorama is a must. We’ll definitely be back next...
