6 Senses — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

There are not many restaurants that really impress me, however this is one that did. There are not enough words to describe just how good it is here. We have been in Hersonissos for ten days and walked past the restaurant almost daily. Each time we were greeted by Eddie, a lovely, friendly and approachable guy. Everytime he greeted us it was without any pressure (unlike some of the other restaurants in the area who can be intense and pushy). We visited the other day for drinks and ended up having starters for a snack. Today is our last night in Crete and we decided to have dinner at Six Senses. Just wow. Firstly the service is outstanding, friendly, professional and very welcoming. Secondly the food is out of this world good. The starters were lovely, but the mains just wow. There are very few restaurants that can get a steak right and I can say that the steak I had tonight is the best steak I have ever had. I asked for medium and that's what I got with a lovely peppercorn sauce. My Wife had chicken and my Son pizza. The puddings were lovely also. We enjoyed a bottle of prosseco and I had a beer also. The portion sizes are very generous and the price is fantastic! All in all out of all the places we have eaten while here, this is the best. To be honest they are better than any of the restaurants I've visited as far as I can remember. When we return to Crete, this will be the first place we eat. Don't do what we did and leave it until the last night, if we had gone last week for dinner we would have had the chance to go back...

We found 6 Senses by chance on the map and never regretted it! The menu immediately stood out with photos of the dishes, and the restaurant owner turned out to be incredibly friendly and passionate about his cuisine. He even showed us pictures of meals not listed on the menu, joked with guests, and created a very warm atmosphere. You can clearly see he loves both his work and his visitors.

🍝 On the first day, we ordered seafood pasta, salmon pasta, and a kids’ burger. – The salmon pasta was absolutely amazing! We ordered it again for the next two days. – The seafood pasta was delicious too, but once you try the salmon pasta, it’s hard to choose anything else. – The burger was quite specific because of the spices and herbs, but the meat was perfectly cooked.

🐟 On the second day, we had salmon pasta again and seabass. The fish was cooked to perfection with a light touch of charcoal flavor.

🥩 On the third day, we ordered salmon pasta once more and a meat mix. The owner suggested his signature sauce — and it was simply magical! To top it off, he brought us cheesecake as a compliment for our third visit.

✨ This restaurant is a must-visit! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the owner is a true professional who loves...

6senses has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at in Greece.

From the very start, the customer service stood out. The staff were accommodating, and genuinely friendly. They not only shared their food recommendations but also highlighted the quality of the dishes before we ordered and they were absolutely right.

The seafood linguine was unforgettable: perfectly roasted with a rich, delicious flavor. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, as if it had just been caught that morning. It was easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.

The stifado was equally impressive. The beef was so tender that it practically fell off the bone, and when paired with the rice, it created the perfect combination. The lamb chops were succulent and cooked to perfection tender enough to melt in your mouth. Even the fries were spot on, with just the right amount of crispiness.

The drinks were another highlight. Strong yet full of flavor, each one felt unique and well-crafted. And to top it all off, we enjoyed a breathtaking view right beside us, making the entire dining experience even more special.

I can’t recommend 6senses highly enough. Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back the next time...
