5-Star Review: Zaeri All Day Café & Restaurant – A True Gem by the Bay!
From the moment we arrived at Zaeri, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel like welcome guests rather than just customers.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We ordered a generous mixed grill platter that was almost too beautiful to eat — bursting with flavors, perfectly grilled meats, fresh pita, golden fries, and creamy tzatziki. Every bite was satisfying, and the portions were overwhelming in the best way possible.
The atmosphere was equally memorable. The restaurant is spotless and beautifully designed with thoughtful décor, comfortable seating, and a clean, modern aesthetic. The view of the bay is nothing short of stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal.
They went above and beyond by offering complimentary desserts (which were delicious!), bringing coloring pencils and paper to keep the baby entertained, and even calling a cab for our guests. It’s rare to find service this personal and thoughtful.
Even the bathrooms were pristine and stylish — a small detail, but one that says a lot about how much care goes into every corner of this place.
Zaeri is more than just a place to eat; it’s an experience. Whether you’re visiting for lunch, dinner, or just a drink by the water, this is a spot that makes you feel pampered, well-fed, and fully satisfied. Highly...
Read moreExcellent all round, amazing food, good friendly service and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We shared cheese saganaki (local graviera cheese instead of feta or halloumi that is usually used for cheese saganaki) in honey and village sausages to start. The cheese saganaki was the best I've had, and the sausages full of flavour and a good portion; the combination of the sausages, cheese and the pita bread went well together. We both had the Cretan carbonara (without mushrooms), this was very good, with big slices of quality pork, and lots of it too! A good amount of sauce, creamy and not too rich, combined well with the linguine pasta. After asking for the bill some complimentary desserts where brought over, mini cheesecake style, with pistachio's sprinkled over; light and tasty. If you can, make sure you sit out the back by the water, the restaurant itself already has great decor and a good atmosphere, but sat by the water is even better, listening to the waves come in, with fantastic views of the harbour; we arrived around 7 just before the light went, and it was great seeing it light, and then changing to dark with all the lights nearby coming on. Some of the food is maybe a little more pricey than nearby restaurants, but the quality, setting and service makes it completely worth it, I wouldn't hesitate returning. A great...
Read moreThe place that made our stay. We were literally having our every dinner here. The Best place in whole Hersonisos area, if not on the whole island… The food is simply exceptional. Not just those random grilled meat or seafood versions, but with a real touch of love, idea, and homelike taste. Check my photos, we highly recommend almost every line on the menu, but especially the mashrooms and salmon tartar as a starter, orzo pasta or pork medallions as a main dish, and MUST have tiramisu for desert! OR, definitely try cheese in filo pastry, that’s just a bomb of taste. And don’t miss to try the wine selection. I personally tried red, and it was just majestic. Atmosphere: no one disturbs you, the restaurant Terrasse is hidden from the walking street, tourists are not starting in your plate. The views are simply perfect from Any table there. And music: calm and soft jazz or some really chill lounge. After 24/7 playlists of forgotten RnB club hits from every damn bar here, this restaurant atmosphere is SUCH A RELIEF. All day. You really can come by at any time of the day. We didn’t yet tried the breakfast here, but smth tells me it would be still...
