I would not trust any 5* review on this, I believe these could be doctored because this is no 5* hotel!||Myself and my partner travelled for a break and it was everything but! |Never in my life until now have I wanted to leave a holiday early or counted down the days until I was home! ||First of all - this is a 3* hotel (if that) |The only positive I have is - A nice room / nice location||- when you walk in, it’s dated and not as I expected, the lifts are scary and smelt funny.||- No as advertised “snack bar” - cake and ice cream at 4pm-5pm only.||- toilets on first day had faeces on the floor and something smeared on the seat||- First day a man cracked his head open it was a bloody mess, guests rushed to assist the man and call for help and it took approx 4/5mins for any hotel staff to appear to help!||- lack of “adults entertainment package” as TUI advertised we stayed 10 nights and saw 2x nights of entertainment which repeated the following week, nothing during the day, it’s boring.|||FOOD:|- if you like cold food this is perfect for you! You have to wait for fresh stuff to get it warm, chips will be sat resting in top of the fryer for 5/10 mins going cold by the time they are put in the serving tray.||- food in general was poor, repetitive choices, salty, if you don’t like oriental /swordfish you end up quite stuck, we had to eat out a lot due to wanting warm food with flavour and variety. |Salad sometimes is wilted and doesn’t look appetising, a couple we met had metal in their salad and raw pork! ||- tongs were used to place raw meat on the grill but then used again to pass cooked meat to guests! (Basic food hygiene)||- Cake comes out at 4pm, I got this at 4:05pm and we had said previously it tasted stale and old, this time I found a MAGGOT in my food! Staff didn’t care, told us the kitchen staff are on their break so to take it to the pool bar, this was taken in to the back then the cake was taken away and I had no apology in the moment at all! A few days later (2 days too late) I got a bottle of wine/2 in my room, this did not justify the disgust I had and the fact I was put off eating there! Also I cannot drink 2 bottles of wine on my last day and the moment had passed and it felt too late to apologise!||I discussed the above with TUI in the meantime and they spoke to the hotel and I was told that the hotel stated that it would not have been possible due to strict food hygiene and I basically felt like I was being accused of putting it in there myself! ||You get one A La Carte meal per stay (this is a burger bar) we had a chicken burger, all I can say is it was like a breaded frozen chicken burger, it was brown in the middle and I don’t even want to know the chicken percentage. 1 dessert option.|Someone also got a frozen veggie burger, and a chef was seen smoking whilst preparing food ||- Drinks are watered down and the water is salty, you get one bottle on arrival, I found the gym had bottled water that was drinkable luckily! ||GROUNDS: |-The area around the pool is dirty and overtaken by pigeons, they defecate everywhere and even on you (sadly they got me) pigeon feathers all inside the indoor pool which looks filthy ( is like a dungeon, no one uses it and I don’t blame them) ||- The 2nd pool was a grass area with uncomfortable loungers, a friend got smacked in the face by one, leaving a nasty bruise! These are also surrounded by cat poo.||- if you don’t get late checkout you can use the downstairs showers but this is a handheld shower head , the floor ends up soaked and there’s nowhere to hang anything so then your stuff get wet.||- Sun bed wars, one day it’s manned and you’re not allowed to leave towels which helped, then it’s not the next day and you lose out. Some people left towels out their whole stay! Staff tell you to move them yourself if you’ve got an issue basically|||ROOMS:|As stated above the rooms were pleasant and they appeared relatively clean, that apart from the dirty thong I found behind the curtains, and wires hanging from the walls (I hope these are not live) ||- the balcony light is rather bright and doesn’t turn off, this can be quite bright through the curtains when trying to sleep||- paper thin walls, woken at 4:30am 5 days straight with the bed banging the wall and neighbours being loud, staff didn’t care when we reported this and said “are you sure it’s them” in the end TUI helped us move room! ||When we finally got moved rooms my partner ended up with a firmer pillow, we asked if we could switch/have another softer pillow to which we were told they were fully booked so this is not possible but they will try, nothing ever arrived and he had to sleep without for 3 nights!||A lot of the issues are due to being miss sold by TUI and will be taken up with them but a lot are also hotel issues that need urgently addressing, I would never come back as I and people I have met have had an awful experience which is such a shame when we work so hard to enjoy these things, mistakes happen but this just got worse and worse to the point where we just had to say if we don’t laugh we...

•food is bad. Cant even cook scrambled egg and pasta is wet but also hard. •a lot of food is greasy and cooked not right at all, I love food and I’m not picky but it just wasn’t tasty or good at all •manager is so moody and never even smiled when we always smiled at him. •the lifts are very dangerous and look very dodgy, thought we where going to get stuck in it. •two euro for luggage to stay in a box when leaving so it’s safe, waste of money as doesn’t give you your money back for using the luggage locker, have to pay every time you open it. •I got stuck in toilets on bottom floor, lock wasn’t opening, didn’t have any wifi or anything to try to ring for help, could have died as it was stuffy and warm in there too. Felt like I was going to faint but managed to burst the door open to get out somehow. •the showers are completely rubbish, they squirted water all over as shower head isn’t good. And also there is no where to hang anything. •nothing fun for kids especially older kids, just a tennis table that gets shut at like 8pm •pools are okay but get shut at 6pm •barely any entertainment only a few dancers every couple of days •only good thing is that it’s close to the beach •drinks are rubbish, they are made with carbonated water and they are disgusting, they barely add any flavour to them •Hallway carpets are dirty •have a sunbed rule for not having towels on sunbed if not using them but they don’t enforce it whatsoever •the chefs making the food look miserable •the people clearing away plates however are very nice. •Almost fell down the outside steps to the pool table room because they are so steep and slippy. •Not much Crete food options •attempt to cater for the English but it’s terrible •everything shuts early so it’s like they don’t want you to have fun on holiday •the shower doors are rubbish don’t even close properly. So much for newly installed bathrooms. Water just gets all over the bathroom •The pull out bed/couch is uncomfortable. Especially for someone who has to sleep on it. •The only entertainment I got was the cats that roam about. I loved them •The sunbeds outside are black material so they absorb the sun and when you lay on them they hurt, even if you put your towel down over it they still burn if you touch them •everyone just looks sad. Like how am I supposed to enjoy my time if you look drab •pool table is good •tennis table couldn’t even use because man told us it was too late to use it at 8pm •alcohol isn’t that great •reception lady is always nice, always smiling so that’s good •prawn crackers where lovely •feta and cheese was nice •saw lots of flys on the salad though •ice cream is tasty 10/10 •water is like the only nice drink •wifi is really bad, especially on lower levels of the hotel. Could barely send things to people and had to wait up to 20 minutes just to get full bars because it wouldn’t connect cause it’s that bad. •can’t wear shorts in the restaurant but can wear dresses???make it make sense. I’m sorry but what are men supposed to wear in the heat if they can’t wear shorts •views aren’t that great from balcony, can’t really see much •I witnessed a child knock a glass off the table and the manager was so cruel towards the kid and the staff; he snatched the broom off of the staff member who was just trying to clean up the glass and the manager started cleaning it up himself in a nasty cheeky manner. He made it out like it was the staff members fault and it was not a nice sight and I feel so bad for the staff who work there, they are not treated fair at all.

Overall not a great place to stay, my family didn’t have a pleasant time and we ate out most nights as the food is shocking, it was hilarious watching people look at the food and not even going to grab it because of the look of it. The manager is also horrible, and during my stay was not nice to the staff at all...

Just back from a week here and had to wait to review as was so frustrated with this hotel and unhelpful reception staff. This is not a 4 star hotel at all... as 1 other guest said to me his expectation was a budget hotel and if you going with this mindset then it can be an acceptable place to stay. However you are still charged 5 star tourist tax! |The room is large but fridge did not work and towel rail fell off the wall when i put a towel on it. Shower drain was blocked and needed fixed. |My daughter found it difficult to find much to eat and she was not fond of the local soft drinks either. We were put off from the 1st nite when we arrived after midnight and brought to restaurant to eat but the salad and bread were sitting out uncovered and there were so many flies on them we avoided salad bar for the rest of the stay as they were never covered. Food selection was same every day but the live cooking station for chinese noodles 2 nights was lovely. |No entertainment during day nor any night i was there but we went out to the beach most nights so maybe i missed it? |Know bar is nicer for nighttime and close to beach and shoutout to Mike who was great.|Main Pool area was busy with no chance of sunbeds.2nd pool area at back was quieter but sunbeds were cheap and uncomfortable and it was a grass area with hundreds of wasps and other insects. |Walls are paper thin and we were surrounded by noisy guests and overlooked the main pool so constant shouting.|The reception staff all seem to not know what customer service is. Every interaction was frustrating and the outcome was never satisfactory.|I contacted them about a number of issues but the most obvious case of unwillingness to help was when i enquired about getting details about an excursion to see the dinner theatre show Alar. They initally said they did not know about it..then they found they had a leaflet for it... then when i asked about trying to book was told to come back next day so someone else may help as they did not know anything about it. I ended up booking it online myself and it was a fantastic night.. highly recommend. However i went back to reception to book taxi for it a few days later and the same person who denied knowing about it looked at me strangely when i asked if safe to walk to it or should i get taxi. She said its safe as i walked there this morning!!!! My question is then why did you not assist me when i initially asked????|Check out was 11am but pick up not until 7.30. Left luggage room is unocked and a floor below reception with a handful of lockers which were all filled. When asked what i should do with my bags was told to leave them at end of lobby. Asked if she would keep behind reception and was refused. Offered to use shower beside indoor pool but it was so small handheld shower and no where to keep your towel or change of clothes dry. Also no ac within the main communal areas so most uncomfortable experience ever.|I would not recommend and feel the 4 star rating...

We stayed here for 4 nights in July as part of a reasonably priced all-inclusive package. Since we did not pay too much we did not expect something of 5 star standard, but we were not disappointed with what we got. The room was big enough and comfortable though the bed may be hard for some people. We had a sea view. There was a good selection of food, so I think that there would be something for everyone. We only ate the vegetarian food, so I cannot comment on the meat dishes. Everything was fresh and of good quality. The only danger is eating too much! In the four nights that we stayed there was only one evening with entertainment, which was a little disappointing. The restaurant has two large outside eating areas, both of which permit smoking. We often found ourselves having to move inside when smoke wafted on to us while eating. It kind of spoilt the meal experience! An issue on arrival that was eventually resolved could well have ruined the stay and for that reason I would think twice about booking this hotel again. On arrival, we signed the check-in document and were given meal tags and sent down to eat lunch. After lunch we came to the reception to get our room and they told us that there was none available and we would have to move to another hotel for one night. They said that the other hotel was better than this one, however I looked it up and found that it was 4 km out of town. They said that it happened because some guests had to stay another night due to a delayed flight. About twelve other people were also told the same. We all said that this is not acceptable, but the desk lady said that nothing could be done about it. I called the package tour operator. Then miraculously all the keys for all the group suddenly became available and we checked in to the rooms. I do not want to speculate here about what was going on, but clearly the story that we were told was untrue. I find it hard to believe that they would knowingly oversell a central hotel with the view of sending guests to a harder to sell sister hotel. If the hotel would like to offer an explanation, I will be happy to publish anything they say here.

To say the Greek authorities have given this hotel a 5* rating has to be the most blatant level of corruption I've ever seen. The staff seemed disappointed when we arrived, asking us to forward our Jet2 booking confirmation to their random Gmail account to prove we had a reservation. Smokers throughout the hotel, and food that remained dry and bland from morning till night. (Breakfast on the street with bin lorries driving past) Twice as many rooms as sunbeds let alone pool space, music was clearly royalty free and no entertainment to be seen. Just to mention just a some of the issues we had. Again, very disappointed that we were sold a 5* holiday and got little more than a hostel. After fighting for two days Jet2 allowed us to move to another hotel, highly recommend avoiding.

Restauracja w ramach all inclusive działała w określonych godzinach, co wymagało planowania dnia.
